Can you rip the sump off an all wheel drive RB25DET from a Stagea etc and replace it with a 2WD one from a Skyline and whack it in?

I think teaznR33 just tried this, and the stagea block is not drilled for the 2wd sump like an rb26, that and maybe the pickup would be the only concern.

short answer is no, cause the oil pickup is in a slightly diff position as well as the 6mm bolts are not all drilled.

Best best is to simply get a 4wd diff and cut the diff off, or I can send you the sump layout and you could get it laser cut and make one from scratch (not really that hard).

If you do decide to go the cut method Id be keen for the spares out of the front diff.

yeah. as above. but on a 20 gts4 block the m6 holes are tapped. but the oil pickup is not there.
