as its a 1989 car, it would only cost 1grand for compliance.

id assume youd have to dick around with it ..... change the engine back i dont THINK youd get it signed off with that engine...but i dunno

couldnt see any reason why it wouldnt seeing as dave has brought in 2 GTSTs with GTR engines each putting out over 300rwkw

the suti vehicle supplied to fors for any vehicle under low volume compliance wouldve had the original engine in it...therefore each signed off vehicle must be up to the suti vehicle specs.....especially under sevs....either he changed engines or a dodgy 045 was done

it wasnt under the SEVs it was under the old rules i think... and this one above comes in under the 15 year rule so does it matter what the mods are to it?

i dunno... either way hes got two monsters

i think you will find the emmision data that will need to be submitted for a particular model still requires the original engine for that vehicle to be fitted....15 years or older they still have to meet emmision rules....i think everybody is not fully informed in regards to the 15 year old rule...... and sevs came in over a year ago when did this guy get his cars plated?Even under the old system (before sevs)...the vehicle must be up to the suti vehicle standards...engine swap is NOT allowed......

isn't the rule you can only put a *newer* engine in than the original?? to pass emissions?? so in that case maybe it can be done??
