taken engine out

anyone takin a rb20det out themselves, any hints or things to look out for.

i'm planning to do mine this weekend maybe but i thought i'd get some info 1st.

piece of piss, just don't forget the radiator hoses & wires at the back of the engine.

P.S. leave A/C compressor in vehicle

jus finished pullin the engine out, pretty easy, took more time unpluggin shit and pullin hoses out then actually gettin the engine out. engine and gearbox came out togetha

that was me first time at pullin a engine out, i reckon more experience and better tools would have got the job done alot easier and quicker.

i reckon putting the engine back in without the gearbox on is way easier.

trying to line up the engine mounts is a pain in the arse when the box is attached.

when the box is off weight is distributed evenly so u can just drop it down.

bolting the box back up can be just as tough though
