Some of you knows that I just bought this car for less than 4 months. The GTR is an awesome car to drive, and I have to admit, they are the BEST in its class (and maybe simply the best car from Japan).

The details are:

R33 GTR Vspec 1996 gun metal silver.

AVO fmic worth 1500$

17" Volk Racing TE37 rims worth 3500$ with RE540s Bridgestone semi slick tyres (70% thread left with Azenis semi slick spares -4 of them-) all worth 7000$ when new.

Brembo brakes with Apexi slot and drilled rotor worth 1000$

Tein suspension worth 2000$

3.5" Kakimoto style exhaust cat back with Apexi GT front pipe worth 2500$

GT35BB turbo worth 2000$

K&N Filters

Exeddy 3 puck clutch.

Grex gearknob

Grex oil cap

Momo racing steering wheels

Aftermarket front bar.

HKS SQV BOV.

and many more extras worth around 20.000$ plus.

Resprayed professionally before selling

However I would like to seek interest of anyone out there who willing to swap my car with WRX STi MY01 onwards (new shape) OR Lancer Evolution 5 OR 6.

Otherwise I am willing to re-sale the car again for 50.000$ with new Exeddy 3 puck clutch (less than 1500 kms), new HKS spark plugs, and oil change every 3500 kms. The car is serviced at BMT.

They are great cars to drive, however due to some problems with my dad forcing me to re-sale the car again.

Any other infos call 0415210220 or 0421531468 or email to [email protected].

I would maybe consider dong an outright swap wth my car, even though it is not specified in your list of WANTS...

It is a BNR32 GTR bought from MDORI in Japan. It has 650 Hp (528 RWHP) and has about twice the gear that is on your car.

I realise that you are probably selling your car because you would like something smaller or standard. If you are not interested i am completetly understanding, however i would love to swap your wheels if you are keen? I have BBS LM Evolution 245/4517, they are worth around $8500 new i have been told!

For ultra usability go for the Autech Stagea with R33 GTR running gear etc etc.

If you have to go for a 4 door then usuckpoo s on the money for sure! (saw one of these in Unique Cars a while ago for $65,000)

Youre other option is to go for an Evo VII, UniqueCars magazine has a few of these and you can get low volume compliance for the right ones if you wish to import it yourself...

:D

Then theres Evo 8s

Autech Stegea 260RS's would be the go, but they are rare here, but about to be compliable, and damn expensive... but piss off every HVS GTS driver....Beaten by a wagon, how embarassing

Guys,

Anyone considering importing their own car from japan should haf a look.

http://www.zele-international.com/

Needs a translator cos its in japanese

Its basically a specialized gtr dealer.

They have everything from N1 GTRS to Autech 4 doors.

I have yet to see or hear of one in Australia, but this is close to the rarest gtrs around.

usuckpoo, is ZELE an export site or is it sale for domestic japanese market only?

I find it hard to determine the prices of the cars but from what i can see they are BLOODY expensive. Over 3 million yen for a low kilometre BNR32 GTR is a rort!

For example, the link to that Autech version of the R33 GTR is about 4.2 million yen which is about 60 grand.... I know of some stes that are selling R-34 GTRs to the Australian market for the mid 3 million mark....

I just looked into that site some more, those prices that i thought were million yen ARE million yen. Those cars are rediculously expensive.... Most of those R-32 GTR's are around 50 + grand and the 33's are onwards of 55 grand not to mention the 34's...

Re: Autech 33 4 door: I think they adjusted the timing and fuel maps to get some more grunt due to extra body weight etc, but went a bit over the top and they are sposed to be noticably quicker than a normal 33. I know they have different diff ratios and softer saloon type sus. Rear seats are moulded like the front ones and the stereo is upgraded slightly as is the a/c systems and some other minor details....

I am sure if you look up the R33 Autech 4 door on the net you will find heaps more than i can eloborate on!

From what i am told (i may be wrong here):

yes they are a premium gtr dealer.

They have a uk branch which is where they export most of their cars to i think, but i dont have the uk website.

I was looking ard at the R34 GTRs, not cheap but there are some that come in the 3.5 million yen mark, which is close to the base bidding price at Japanese auctions....

I guess it wont be worth considering if you're just considering a regular gtr, but if you're looking for something that is hard to find at auctions (400R, 4dr gtr, N1 Nur Specs Etc)

This might be it.

    • Lol yeah I ordered the clips mentioned and as far as the amayama diagrams go i think thats all I'll need. Fogured id ask, sometimes people's first hand experience doesnt always match up to diagrams haha, i guess I'll wing it and worse comes to worse I'll just deal with it as I go
    • Thanks for all that information I appreciate it. To answer your questions: - Yep that's what I mean. These guys are professional painters to so I must be missing something. It's a bit hard to explain. - With the primer landing on clearcoat, I make sure that the surrounding clearcoat is scuffed to 240 grit as my epoxy primer says that I only need to sand the area to 240 grit. - Yeah so similar to the first question, assuming that the paint landed on the unscuffed clearcoat because I've seen that happen. - Yep I want to prep the surface in that order. Only reason because epoxy primer will protect it from rust and I need that atm with this crappy Sydney weather. I think I was worried about time, if I try to put the filler down but screw it up somehow and I don't have time to sand it off and reapply it then need to put primer later that it might start to rust again so I wanted to apply the primer as quick as possible to not deal with rust.  - I just deleted some answers, I just realised after watching a video and what you said about looking at the data sheet, that I need to read the data sheet on the specific filler I'm using. It's possible now that I put epoxy primer first was a waste of time and need to go to bare metal lol
    • I did. I went to a suspension guy and he told me because I don't have adjustable camber arms it's the reason why my car veers towards the left if I take my hands off the wheel but if I drive my other every day car and take my hands off the steering wheel it goes completely straight. I think it's common with Skyline's. In order to fix the problem, I likely need gktech camber arms then nismo bushes since I have poly bushes atm, then a wheel alignment after that. With my car if I take my hands off the steering wheel on a really bumpy road before stopping at a light I have to hold my steering wheel somewhat tight otherwise my car will legit just go completely in the other direction quite quickly and I'll slam into something lol instead of stopping straight. I Believe this YouTuber had the same issue and fixed it with gktech arms. At timestmap 6:05 he talks about how the car doesn't veer anymore after installing these arms.
    • hello! does anyone have a schematic that shows how to test the blower motor resistor for the vac system? i believe the part# is 27761-15U00. I think the resistor is toast, but would like to be able to test it somehow before i embark on the journey to find a new one. cheers! 27761-15U00
    • I don't know the answer to this, but did you have a look at the parts diagrams on amayama.com and see what they list around it for your car? As an example this should be it on my car. That's how I would check for required clips and things like that. But, I take no responsibility for you ending up with a box full of random OEM hoses, washers and clips after going down that path a few times. This definitely has never happened to me
