Oh that's another thing Hyperdrive mentioned was that part of the install was they redo the earths for the pump.

plus its an excuse to get a hi flow fuel pump....

and the tomei ones have the factory plug...i so i dont think earthing should be a problem, but dont quote me on it. just have to see when its installed

The earth is an issue, as with the factory wiring the earth is held higher than chassis to reduce the voltage at the pump.

Wiring in an earth direct is how you can get full supply voltage at the pump at all times, minus the volt drop in the original wiring loom.

well i put a gauge in line just after the front filter/before the rail and it shows 30ish psi at idle and @ 50 at revs....dont know if thats near stock but looks ok!?

was also told that it may be my 'MINES' ecu...as it has been played with when they fixed a broken circuit..soooo may need to try a standard ecu??

I think 30psi may be a bit low.. I thought they were a 3bar system?

Fuel pump needs to be tested under load as even dud pumps can often make 30psi at idle.Skyryans pump wont even make pressure with the return blocked off.

aaahh..so at the least i'll need another dyno to suss it out then see if it's the reg or sumfin else!??!
