Origonal Filter Box Or Uas Pod Box

What do you guys think would be better, mod the origonal panel type air filter box so that it can accomidate for my pod filter or just buy a UAS type pod filter box>

Well my opinion is if you want some bling show factor the the UAS box is best, but if you use the standard box and get cutting at least you will still have the snorkel goin to the top of the box which will ensure a nice cold air supply.

I personally have just kept the stock box but was considering the ARC super induction box but im not sure where exactly that draws the air from.

yea allot of the so called 'cold induction box's' arn't as efficient as the standard air intake. leave it stock and replace the air filter to a high flow one. imo, best option.

allthough if you want pods then chopping the stocker is not a bad idea. In saying that even just a heat shield will do a decent job if you want pods so the aftermarket box's arn't that bad. depends how far you want to go.

What sort of power are you after, a pod wont make more power over a K&N in the stock box up to about 240rwkw
