I'm thinking of selling my coupe end of this year early next.

(Need 4 door and lease for business)

I've owned it for 2 years It had done 6,000kms (now 40,000)

Grade 5A

Pretty much same condition as when I got it

20" wheels

Whiteline swaybars

Premium half leather

Manual 6 speed

HKS Supercharger kit

What would be a fair price?

Hardest part is finding a replacement now I've been spoilt.

It's just the wife and I now the kids have their own cars or are moving out

Going off thr prices some of the import places are bringing crappy ones in for. I'd imagine mid to high 40's is the go.

However, if you decide to part it out before selling, I'll happily take the supercharger! Seriously!

If it's just you and the misses, hold off for the new GTR!!

Spend the kids inheritance, you know they would :-)

Cheers

Need something a little more practical unfortunately

Actually thinking of Golf GTi DSG,Mazda 3 MPS or the new WRX if it looks better in the metal

At least I've got my 32 GTR to maintain the Skyline fix ;)

Mid to high 40's as it is was about what I was thinking. The HKS kit is not cheap at around double the price of a Vortec.

Why not a 350GT-8 Sedan then you can transfer all the goodies to the new one?

Paul

r34- Man your v35 is HOT!!!!

how much did the supercharger kit cost? and where did you get it done?

Thanks

The HKS kit costs around $13k

I got mine off a 350Z used but the compressor was stuffed and I had to buy a new one so not that cheap

i've been searching for a fine - white - 350GT for a few weeks in Jap.

but can never get the one i want for the right price.... (and how come pearl white is sooo rare)...

soooo, i bought a BMW 328CI ....

:D

pearl white in V35's isn't rare, every second one i looked at in QLD was white

shame you had to settle for a crappy BMW, couldn't think of anything uglier (no i'm not joking)

yeh , the bimmer only has 200odd HP~~

and i want the folding mirror!!!!! and reverse CAM!!!!!

-----------------------------

but the plus side is... i can show off my keys -_-

also i got red leather and tridition BMW smell (funny that all my friend's bimmer has the same smell even his 15yr old E36...).

AND i get the straight 6 ...

At Least White is cheaper than Black one, That is so F**K expensive.

That's funny as when I was looking I could have had so many black ones for around 300,000 yen less than white.

Must be the time of the year or something

I wouldn't own a black one if you paid me

Yes they look great when their someone elses but a pain to keep clean.

I had a black Skyline once...never again

We all like different things but I was just stating what when I was buying to get pearl white required a premium price compared to black and especially silver

    • You Gregged a whole racetrack!?
    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
