Hoon Driving Survey - For Year 12 Assignment Sa Only Please.

Hey guys/girls I've been on the forums for a while but haven't really introduced myself. My name's Andrew/Andy/Hillzy, I'm in year 12 and have a series 1.5 R33 GTS25t. One of my subjects this year is Stuies of Society. We have this massive report to do which is worth 30% of the year's mark (I'm sure you've all been there) and I need a little help.

I am investigating the effects of Mallala track days, drift practice and AIR off-streets (preying they come back) and whether they reduce the amount of incidents of hoon driving or not. You can help me by filling out the following hoon driving survey. The results will basically tell me the attitiude that the general public has towards hoon driving etc. If you do not wish to post up your answers please feel free to PM me.

Due to size limits this report os limited to hoon driving in South Australia and therefore only require SA data.

It will help but probably about 10% of people. The fact is cost of these events, the fact the police will set up defect stations etc around events like these will just keep hoons on the streets. Realisticly the only people that will go to events like these are people that have nice cars and can afford to go to the track and that are responsible on the roads normally. All the dickheads will just stay on the street.

[X] Other_South australia has the toughest laws on hoon cars (modified cars), yet they have the stupid amounts off accidents, i think they need to concentrate more on education and training. I have travelled around australia and could quite easily say that south australia as a whole have really really bad drivers, no indicating, most of the time doing 20km.hr under the speed limit so slowing down the flow of traffic then people try to overtake and pass when they just cant. I think more mandatory lesson with actual driving instructors and not parents would be a much better idea. I just think that its not always the "hoons" that police should concentrate on

Once you have explored the limits of your car at the track, you are less inclined to push it on the road as you realise the thrill you get at the track can rarely/never be had on the roads.

The results will basically tell me the attitiude that the general public has towards hoon driving etc.

Not trolling your thread, but u do realize that u are surveying a narrow demographic of people? "General public" isnt a set group of individuals who all share a common interest (being cars in this case) which wont give u a good result of what people think...

(If you do not attend these events leave blank) it gives you a better understanding of your vehicle, i have been in a situation where a older lady 50+ pulled out in front of me and i swerved to miss her which then put my car in2 a slide i was able to recover without hitting anything at all in which i believe i may have lost complete control without knowing how my vehicle reacted to such a move.
