^^oooh about that...that reminds me i need to shave...

no that's crazy, did you try to run him off the road or just get in front of him and cut him off.

both an alarm and imobiliser??!? f*ck that shatters my confidence in getting one and sleeping soundly at night

if it has vic plates that should be reasonably easy to spot, i'll keep an eye out.

the plates are ULH 846 i hope it comes back made guy were you in robina last night? i saw a car that looked like your right after mine was stolen and a maroon 33 with no spoiler

ooooo..thats a nice looking skyline....ill def keep an eye for that...last time my silvia got stolen..was found aftr three weeks..normally this f*kers steal the cars and take it for a small ride and park it somewhere and then have a grand time taking the stereo out..did it have much fuel left on it.

there should be a law out there..shhot to kill...met this dude other day on the street who wanted to steal a car parked on the side road..he was teln me about stripn the car out..some random f*(K...i told him..mate if that was my car and i caught u...id sell ur body parts to my dogs...lol

Yeah i know it WAS nice untill they thrashed the f**k out of it on there way out of the car park. Just my luck i filled it the night before ready for work the next morning, the worst thing is i saw it fly out infront of me doing a huge burnout when i ran down stairs to see why my alarm was going off. No point in alarms and immobilisers they clearly dont do anything except make them work faster.

nope sorry - didn't even go to the gym last night (which is in broady) i have different wheels on the rear of my car too if that helps my case.

i can't believe you saw it, that would be the WORST feeling for me! i really hope you get it back as soon as possible hiu

made guy how the f**k can that remind you that you need to shave? what a stupid comment

what the f*ck is with some people....

it was a joke douchebag, he was pretending that he stole the car...f*k

thank f*cking christ some people know what a joke is. high 5 killswitch!

but sorry MRSR33 - no more whoring of this thread from me. if i see a hot black r33 with plates. i'll tail it though (i seriously will, but then i'll call the cops, i won't be playing dodgem's with my car or anything)

nah they shoudlnt mate. but keep in mind this a community of fun loving young and old (noel) skyline owners/enthusiasts they have there lil poke once in a while thats the way it is.

so the alarm was going off. how did he disable the imoboliser.? last time i checked ADR makes sure all are un coloured and 3 point. fuel pump being one.

i have mongose M80 pretty good. heard they are shit but does the job. i also use my lock club which wont work too well as i have a boss kit and 17mm steering nut showing.

keeping an eye out southside brisbane  good luck do u have insurance.?

firstly im not a douch bag and there is nothing wrong with me this was my girlfriends car and im pissed that someone f**king stole it i dont think people should joke about it

wo-wo-wee-woh! relax pussycat - no one ever said you were, didn't you see the quote, or more importantly who was quoted when the douchebag comment was made?!?!

damn it,,, i hate hearin this shit.. hey, i live around this area and im around robina alot, ill keep my eye out for you, cannot miss that car. the rims stand out alot, so would be easy... i bet the cops dont care much?...

we might have to buy some of those police wheels locking things soon when we part our skylines!...

any one tryed that key pad alarm system that comes with some 06 and onward wrxs. my friend has one that came stock with his wrx, and cannot be started without the 4 digits... any one had any issues with these?, or are we just screwed for owning skylines?

cops called this morning they found the car which was crashed and on fire the mrs went and looked today and apprently they hit the boot with a pick and engine or some such crap ill get more info later tonight... i was quoted when the douch comment was made i didnt mean to sound like i was angry at anyone in particular was just in a bad mood and angry in general

also id like to add it doesnt really matter what alarm you have if they want the car bad enough they will take it. the mrs car had an alarm with a pager ( a fob on her keys with a screen and a pic of a car that goes off vibrates and makes noices depending on whats going on) and had immobiliser but it obviosuly didnt stop them. witnesses said they saw the thief(s) hitting the dash area with what looked like to be a pole so maybe they found wires or something to use to start it..

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
