Have a look at this guys...

What the f&(% are they on about, do they even know what the hell drifting is about????

If i was to close my eyes I'd think there talking about a treadmill race for the 'Biggest Loser' or something.

hey iron chef.. how hard is it to bring in and find a JZX81 like finks? expensive?

pm if possible mate

6k landed and complied and regeod

what engine do they come with?...

Trent u kno what im thinking... i want one like Finks.. with a 1J aswell :(

but yeah, ill sit on that one and think about it when i pull mine off zee road

Don't like them? Then don't listen.

I highly doubt that the so called "bad commentary" in that clip affects your life, or anyone else's on here, so get over it.

lol woww 'thunder strike' im sorry for offending you & your feelings...

Anyone else want to have a go at me for saying people who have NO IDEA about drifting shouldnt be commentating drift competitions??

by the way are u one of those people who collected action figures at the age of 18 by any chance?

according to your logic, you shouldn't be speaking/typing in English..

some one could come in here and say "look at this guy saying "perthetic" he shouldn't be allowed to speak English if he can't even spell!"

Im not paid to start threads on forums, either am i an English teacher.. besides, who looks out for their spelling in forums anyway??

Those commentators ARE paid for what they do & ARE supposed to be professionals at what they do...

Anyway either close the thread or get back on topic cos the 2 above posts are worth no more than a worn out Goodyear 175/65/R14.

lol woww 'thunder strike' im sorry for offending you & your feelings...

You obviously did not understand me if you think that I am offended at all.

You can choose to focus on the bad things in life, or you always try to see the good in things. Now which one will bring you most happiness?

dean, if he had no idea about drifting.. why is he commentating... i say.. bring on calder

lol Phil what the f*&% are u on about? So ur saying they know what there talkn about?? Out of all people i would not think

you especially would pull out a sH&* comment like that..

Name 3 things those commentators said that was relevant to the sport of drifting.

And whats with this thread in general!!! I started it as a F*&*NG joke to give people a bit of a laugh and i have panzies turning it into a war.

You belong on calaisturbo.com talking about different size dose pipes.

dean, you talk about drifting like you can do it blindfolded... 2004 is when DA started, and NO ONE knew wtf they were doing, listen to DA now and see how much it has improved aswell as everyone else that does it...

You are one person who shouldnt comment on drifting in any aspect...

So what if i was on CalaisTurbo.. how much knowledge have i gained reading their tech threads and reading these... does the outcome of my car make it obvious?

I say get out there like you have been saying for how long, you have dumped how much money into ur suspension and car, but you still wont bring it to a track, instead ur bringing a commo to drift.. worst idea ever.. but MIGHT be ok

Like Ironchef said, the whole drift thing only just started and everyone needs practice to get things right, but then if you didn't realise it was in the early days, I know where you're coming from. Just relax!

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
