Ok just for your interest. Prices arent trade prices btw.

December 05 and onward Headlight Assembly is $1942+GST from Nissan for EACH headlight, including globes and wiring (no ballast resistor pack however)

Headlight body and Lense (no globes or wiring etc) is $1030ea + GST

Part No: 26025CM41A for the RHS and 26075CM41A for the LHS

Tail lights are a similar story if you want to upgrade to the nicer 06/07 model (looks so much hornier than 03!) They are $443+GST for the body and lense. you have to put in your own LEDs from you existing lights.

Part No: 26554CM41A for the RHS and 26559CM41A for the LHS

Frank, can you advise if we need to modify the wiring in any way, or is it simply plug and play? Same headlight globe size etc?

Thanks!

Jai

No modify required, simply plug and play. need a bit adjustment as those headlight come from US who is on the other side of road against us.

after installed, the right hand light is higher than the left hand, we must adjust them reversed as it may hurt the opposite driver's eyes.

Hi there!

It's and added kit I'm pretty sure, but must have been done originally as was already there, so not sure on cost either.

I do know they are HID bulbs and there are balast units behind the bumper, also looks like a wire on each side that has been cut and taped up.

I'm yet to pull it all appart and see what's going on in there.

Will let you know for sure once I know ;)

Just got the price of that HID fogs, $1000+, man , you got such a big bonus.

Why spend $3k, as Frank said , he got his headlights for $250 shipped each, surely even after you've got all the bits and pieces you are still well under that $3k mark and they look like they are in decent condition.

I'm thinking of doing the same, but I have a 6000k HID kit I bought ages ago for my other car and never used them. They are H4 which had the high and low beams in the one bulb. Don't know if and how it will fit in but I'm going to be assessing it all soon.

Actually Mine is $250 shipped a pair included the HID bulbs, I used the ballast from old light, buy new sets of turing light and parking light from AUTOBAM sydney, who over charge me a lot.

About your H4 HID, you can fit them in the FOG/High Beam in 03 light, I done it with my 03 light 1 year ago. just need to cut off 3 wire ( yellow, grey and yellow/red ) in my memory.

Frank,

where did you find the lights for $250 shipped? Do you have a link?

So normally before the compliance, is the top part of the headlight unit the FOG/high beam is it? or is it the other way round?

The top part is Low Beam, with D2R HID. The bottom part is the FOG/High Beam with H4 on 03 Headlight.

On 06 Head light, Top part is Bi-Xeon, mean Low/High beam in same lense.

Bottom part is Fog(H1) and Parking light ----a very small bulbs on corner.

Are you still looking for the exchaust???

I thing US guys get a lot of HKS, with very sexy sound.

I was looking into the HKS a little while ago, and i think my car has HICAS which means the HKS won't fit. If anyone wants one the best price I found was around $1850 USD delivered to Syd.

The guy who's looking into wheels for me is bringing in a couple of Fuji exhausts in the next few weeks so I'll wait and see how they are.

I'm also waiting on a guy in the US to get back to me on the NISMO exhaust. Hopefully will hear today.

I also found a really good deal on Borla True dual, $1050 USD delivered to Syd, but I think this is too deep for me.

Cheers

Bobby

How does Fuji sound like, In my memory it is a silent exchaust, please tell me I am wrong.

About Borla true, do you mean the sound is deep?

I should search youtube to listen to that.

Thanks

I have the borla, it sounds porn. very much makes the vq sound like a v12. c-red in perth stock a few v35 exhausts

JK

Yeah i've heard some clips and agree it sounds like an eight/12 more than a six. I spoke to C-red a while back and unfortunately the price is much higher than what i would cost from the states.

Frank - yep the fuji is quite silent. I wanna keep the same sound as stock but louder, which the fuji does in the higher revs.

C-red have the full Borla Catback instock for $1600, maybe a bit less with a cash offer! Ive had a quick look over the net and Borla online is about $1200USD without shipping, online pricing about USD$900 without shipping - but the big pain is finding a company willing to go through the hassle of shipping here. most online stores wont! And shipping would run into about $150USD-$200 depending on who you use, so thats already getting close to $1400, and thats on a good day if it slides through customs!

    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items

    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile

    • Ok so i will NEED to have this sensor anyway even with Nistune (or standalone ECU) https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-boost-pressure-sensor-evap-control-system-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-nm35-stagea-pnt30-x-trail-rb25det-vq25det-sr20vet?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqfxX48bW9bEwH62orcNhtBfp7ekAL0C9Ca89ySFGUiBzXfXeze Is this the correct one? And this is only thing i need? No other "things" connected to the sensor or something? I do have the wiring.
