A cruise & an 8 ball comp. could be a goer.See what happens.

On another topic, I received a letter today from Regency about my race R33.It seems they have been reading the '3 litre streeter'

articles in HPI & were slightly(!) concerned about the legality of the aforementioned vehicle!!! Read - they think I'm mad! And

would like the pleasure of inspecting the vehicle to determine it's roadworthiness - yeah sure - they just want to go for a ride!!!!

Unfortunately, due to this, I will not be doing any further articles

on the street cars from now on. Speed wants to feature the race car which is fine 'cause it's never going to be registered again, but

it is a shame that people cannot feature modified cars with out legal issues rearing their ugly head.

Sorry to hear that Munro, thats really f#cked up - if there was only a way to get around these dick heads - perhas HPI should get a national campaign going to lobby the bloody pollies and get them to lay bloody off - this is just big brother going too far - everybody looses.:)

Nightcrawler, I am a bit supersticious too, already came tooo close to coming unstuck this morning - note to self warm tyres thoroughly - but beers and eight ball sounds interesting:)

cool well I'm in for sure .... does 7pm at Bunnings Mile End sound too conspicuous?

Yep will be more than happy to do a couple of laps around the place then head back to my pad (Northgate) for an 8-ball comp .... anyone wanna challenge the house Champion? lol :)

Farkn Geezuz munro thats ridiculous.

They prolly dunno what half the stuff you have is but saw a parachute hanging off the back :)... either way im sorry to hear.

Such a shame that all the beasts you own and have had shown in magazines, hav been brought down by the f*ckwits at regency wanting to inspect your car.

eeerrrrr does this means you got defected by mail?

If u r not defected, then shouldn't those people come to your house for car inspection? or

I like to see how they react if you just tell them you can't afford petro to get to their place?

Good luck with the inspection bro...bring a different car and see if they can tell the difference :) hehehheeh

    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
    • Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
