Hi guys i bought a 32 a few months back and the previous owner hadn't replaced the interior lights but didn't leave the old ones in there either. None of the books at car shops have imports in them and i don't know what size to get? Also i am after some coloured ones if i can get them but i have only found clear ones in all the shops. It'd b great if i could get the measurements for size (mm x mm) from someone or if anyone knows if you can get coloured ones? ;)

Do you mean the courtesy light? In the roof lining? They are a pretty standard bullet-style (with the terminals at either end). You should be able to get an idea of the size from the light unit.

If your talking about the middle interior lght you need a 12V 10W globe.

As for colours i have the blue one and it aint worth SH*T. you cant see a thing!!! So get something bright!!!

Also if this helps the globe is 32mm in length and about 8-9mm in width

Sorry to steal the limelight but since we are talking about interior lights, i have an R32 GTS and the passenger side courtesy light is noticeably smaller compared to the drivers side courtesy light. Is this normal?

Also the guts of the passenger side courtesy light looks fairly new which makes me think its been replaced and is not the original. The drivers side courtesy light is crusty and old looking and does not work, so any1 know where are i can purchase new insides for this courtesy light?

cheers in advance :(

Sorry Long Shanks wish i could help you but i have no idea and i don't have courtesy lights in my doors (taken out by the previous owner).

But i have another question if anyone can help, I have all the right light bulbs for the interior lights (glove box, map lights and centre interior) but they aren't working and the glove box one worked before I started trying to get the front and centre interior lights to work. I've checked the fuses and they all seem o.k so what else could it be?

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
    • What ECU are you running? This is probably the biggest question. If it's a PowerFC, I'd probably change the ECU and get something newer that will handle the injectors in a nicer way.
