Sorry about late reply, but i have an excuse! I've been driving everywhere :P

Nah its not a GTR (cause i'm 19), got a gts-t. GTR when i'm 21 maybe.

Everything is good.

I'll get pics up when i get em.

Only thing is when the heating/aircon is on there is like a double knocking noise coming from the engine (sounds a bit like a heart beat...) every 5 seconds or so and the idle drops to like 300...

Hope its not a big problem but i wanna get it fixed asap. Not sure what it could be, it sounds like its coming from the erea around the pod filter (although its obviously not the pod... unless its resting on something it shouldn't, cause me and my mates put it on...).

Any ideas what it could be?

Let some of my commodore mates drive it and they are jealous!!! :(

Loving it :)

as for the noise its something that can only really be assessed by a professional in person.

hope for your sake its nothing!!

Congrats and safe driving

man i remember those days... oh how i miss those late night drives to anywhere but nowhere in particular.

That's the first thing I want to do when I get my licence. Just drive around with no destination in mind. I can't wait, only 4 months to go!! Too bad it won't be in the 32 though

Yep, petrol prices are fair high these days, although I full tanked my skyline the other night, cost me about $55, but had about 1/4 tank (15L) in there already..

Thats paying about 1.28c/L of high octane fuel. My car is pretty good on fuel though, depends how/where you drive it :action-smiley-069:

Make sure you always fill good fuel in it, very important!!

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me

    • Yep four point harness. Mounted to a bolted in brace running behind the seats. Dont use it for daily driving tbh but good to have for when its needed plus it looks cool.
