0-100km/h Times? - R32 Gts-t

Recommended Posts

This question goes out to all the R32 GTS-T owners on this Forum.

What is your best 0-100km/h time?

My R32 is pretty much stock as a rock apart from:

- Apexi Pod Filter

- GKTech 3" Stainless Exhaust (Split Dump Pipe)

- TurboTech Boost Controller (Boosted to 13psi for my run)

The best I managed to do in 3 runs was 7.4 seconds, and that was with alot of wheel spin :laughing-smiley-014: . I have read that a new stock R32 GTS-T should be able to do 0-100km/h in 6.9seconds, although this would be brand new and under perfect conditions. My manual skills are not fully developed at this stage as I have only just become a Skyline owner. :)

I am interested in the times that other R32 GTS-T owners have been able to manage, and with what mods? To those who complain about measuring 0-100km/h times: Any speed over 100km/h is impractical for street use ;)

Crap man that is pretty shocking,

I got a 6.5 without trying in my old R32 GTS-t, auto too :S

with crap rubber on the front, average rubber on the rear, 3" rage exhaust(no cat), repco pod filter(crap) and a chipped ECU, everything else was standard

I just slapped it in from N - D about 5000rpm(yeah i know bad for the driveline, oh well)

I'll test out my manual GTS-t pretty soon, just waiting on getting it running, I was using a G-tech Pro R on the runs, it's an excellent device, what are you using?

I'm using a GTech Performance Meter/Pro. I think its a cheapy but it does the job.

Yea, I definitely need more practice, this is my first time driving a manual. What would be an ideal RPM to launch at? The best time I could achieve was when launching at 3,000RPM, but I seem to get too much wheel spin.

haha those gtech units are nifty as. Purchased one not too long ago from ebay for a couple of dollars.

Havent done a 0-100km test yet as clutch slipping + bad axle tramp.

Once clutch is put in ill give it a test then :)

The gtech's are quite accurate. Placed it into my friends car at drag strip. It was half a second off from the actual qrt mile. Was impressed by its accuracy.

it read half a second more. So the gtech was reading slower than the actual drag run. Over-estimated instead of under-estimated.

Cant expect better results for a $50 timing device :)

Hahaha. I wonder about mine aswell. During my 0-100km/h runs, the G-Tech seems to reach 100km/h before my Speedo. So either the accelerometers in the G-Tech are more accurate than my Speedo (possible), or it is the other way around  .

So far I am the slowest R32 on here. We need more 0-100km/h times people

yeah I love my G-Tech :( picked it up 2 years ago for $200NZ, the pro model and can be logged into my computer for datalogging and laptimes :spank: it's great

picks up drag times down the split second,

as for the reaching 100k faster than the speedo, yeah mine does that on my old car, on my newer one it reaches 100k after :S

Probably the good old nissan factory error in their speedo, i think its +- round 5km or so

Also tried it out on my partners corolla :D 0-100 in 9 seconds :S she'd kill me if she saw her hard I was revving the old granny mobile

Nice. I got my old auto 4cyl 1990 Magna TP down from stock 14seconds to 10seconds after basic stage 1 mods. Makes me feel disappointed with my R32 time :(.

Stock minus catback, 6k launch 6.3 sec. also with a g-tech.. Not GTS-t.. a GTS-4 ...

6K Launch? Holy Crap, how did you control the wheel spin? :laughing-smiley-014:

There's your answer :D he's got a GTS4  they launch very nicely, although not quite as good as a GTR
