An aftermarket rear diff off an R32 GTR for $200. Not sure what brand it is. Pick-up only. Inspection welcome. Good condition. I've uploaded some photos and you judge it for yourself whether this rear differential is suitable for your car. Inspection welcome.

Turbo's have been sold. Exhaust sold.

Pity you aren't in Brisbane. I'd do the job for you with a swap of the stock R33 turbos in my race car that are rebuilt with steel wheels. Given the value of those and the labour component there would be just a straight swap if interested.

Hi. not having a go, but, do you know that to take 2 sets of turbos on and off there would be close to 20 hours of work there for someone who doesnt do it for a living

20 hours of labour would be worth close to $2000 in a workshop

$3800 plus stock turbos?

No mate. I know heaps of people who can do it in under 4 hours to take a pair of turbo's off and put another pair on. And some of them do Accounting for a living!

Also, why not spend a few hours for it over the weekend if there's spare time.

I could do 4 hours with the custom braided oil and water system in my race car but with the stock GTR system no less than 8-10 hours unless you are prepared to accept significant damage to your piping.

Im still keen on the turbos, but since im in brisbane there is no way I can remove the turbos for you etc.. If you can get a mechanic to remove then etc.. I would do a swap with you plus cash.

I will take $2100 plus stock turbo's if you don't want to do the labour, I'll have the 2530's ready to be picked up.

If noone is keen on doign the labour, and you do get them taken out, pls post pics

I would be very interested to get in touch with a workshop that can do GTR turbos in and out in 4 hours.... to do mine I was quoted 16 hours @ $88 per hour plus approx $250 in consumables (coolant, gaskets etc..) almost $1700...- so... please let me know.

If noone is keen on doign the labour, and you do get them taken out, pls post pics

I received a quote of $650 from Tony Rigoli Performance in Sydney, will be done in a day. Speak to Robert. They're a very reputable workshop, so it will be cheaper elsewhere. Just because it takes you that long, it doesn't mean other people do.

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
