Hi... all

I think I've been rip off by JS AUTO IMPORTS ( they in sydney ). First I bought R34 font bar from him, on the phone he said I'm buying a Nismo font bar from him but then he sent me Genuine Nissan one.... but I don't want to have any trouble so I told him that i would buy the Nismo Z-Tune kits from him... And he asked me to pay the whole amount so he can get everything organised quickly from Japan... I paid in full on 3 August 2007...Untill now it has been no answer from him, even I called, email or sms. He never answer anything... but when i check on the forum, i saw him update every week..

In this case how can I forced him to refund the money... ??? or any members can help me...

Do everybody ever has this experience with them??? :)

mate if this bloke has a shop of some description i would go down there and demand my money back and not leave untill you get it otherwise you can always contact the department of fair trading if you are getting no response from him

dow, its josh

i have been replying to your last week.

informing you that there was a mix up from nismo and i recieved a gtt nismo kit not a gtr nismo kit.....

the gtt kit was for a customer in canada.

i have already re-routed the z-tune kit. and the bill of laying will be posted tonight.

we have never ripped anyone off and never intend too. we have been extremly busy here in sydney and we about 30 emails a day to reply too.

and dow you order a r34 gtr standard gtr front bar and we sent it out the day you ordered it and it was at your door the next day.

we refunded you the money for that and we still have not picked the bar up from melbourne, and we told you we will not until the z-tune parts arrive.....

is this true of not????

Finally you shown up.... You said you contact me last week, this is the actual email....

Subject : YOUR R34 NISMO PARTS

| | | Inbox

SORRY FOR THE DELAYED REPLY. BUT WE ARE VERY BUSY AT TTHE MOMENT.

IN REGARDS TO YOUR Z-TUNE PARTS.

DUE TO THE JAPNESEE PUBLIC HOLIDAY FESTIVAL WEEK.

MOST BUSINESS HAVE BEEN CLOSED THE PAST TWO WEEKS,

BEFORE THE FESTIVAL THE PARTS WERE SENT OUT WITH ANOTHER CRATE I HAD ODEREDED CONATINING THE R34 NISMO GTT KIT WHICH WAS SCHEDUALLED TO BE SENT TO CANADA,

DUE TO A RUSH TO GET THE PARTS OUT, A MIX UP WAS MADE A THE GTR PARTS WERE SENT TO CANADA AND THE GTT PARTS ARRIVED HERE.

I HAVE ALREADY ORGANISED FOR THE GTR PARTS TO BE RE-SENT TO SYDNEY.

AND THERE WILL BE NOT MIX UP AGAIN,

I TRUELLY APPOLIGISE.

IN THE NEXT DAY OR SO I WILL GET AN ARRIVE DATE FOR THE GTR PARTS AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW WITHNIN THE HOUR ONCE AGAIN I

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.

And what so hard to answer me anything, and the last email i sent you, i mentions that i will contact police but still was no response untill now....

Anyway what do you want to do??

- give me refund of $1800 and i keep the font bar that you sent me

- i will send you everything back and you refund $2800 back

- you let me when im getting the body kit

my car just sitting in garage for almost 2 months.... just waiting for the body kits. How would you feel if you had paid for something but there no news of when you getting it...

and last thing i would never want to get standard front bar but in forum said you have Nismo font bar for sale.... you would know that people who have GTR R34 wouldn't want to buy that standard bar...

no more argue, please let me know!!

ton-kra mate. I'm not here to take sides or defend JSAI but have you ever ordered large parts from japan before? It takes time. the boat alone is at least 10 days on the water and there is a week at this end for clearance and local delivery. obon holiday in japan is a week long so add a week for that. to me it seems like the only problem was not enough contact from JSAI to let you know what's happening. well now you know. ordering big parts from japan that are sent consolidated cargo take some time to arrive. like 4 weeks min.

hi guys...

i do understand exactly that when i order big stuffs from japan, i have to wait at least 2 months.... but after 2 and a half months i still don't know when im getting the kits... And importantly i tried to contact many different ways but no answer from him...

if you were me and that you paid full price and the guy said he will let you know in hours but it has been 2 weeks after last email, i still didn't hear from him at all... if i haven't post in this forum he still would contact me...

and yesterday he said he will send me the copy of the bill of layding from Nismo Japan but today i still didn't get anything..

How would you feel about this?????

I put the money in for him already last week and he said he will contact me when he send the item today but he didnt answer my call and gave me the details. Has anyone bought a bodykits from him? I definalty not going to wait for few months, if i know he dont have stock i wont have order it so i hope what he told me is true that he got stock.

    • Have a look at that (shitty) pic I posted. You can see AN -4 braided line coming to a -4 to 1/8 BSPT adapter, into a 1/8 BSPT T piece. The Haltech pressure sender is screwed into the long arm of the sender and factory sender (pre your pic) into the T side. You can also see the cable tie holding the whole contraption in place. Is it better than mounting the sender direct to your engine fitting......yes because it removes that vibration as the engine revs out 50 times every lap and that factory sender is pretty big. Is it necessary for you......well I've got no idea, I just don't like something important failing twice so over-engineer it to the moon!
    • Yup. You can get creative and make a sort of "bracket" with cable ties. Put 2 around the sender with a third passing underneath them strapped down against the sender. Then that third one is able to be passed through some hole at right angles to the orientation of the sender. Or some variation on the theme. Yes.... ummm, with caveats? I mean, the sender is BSP and you would likely have AN stuff on the hose, so yes, there would be the adapter you mention. But the block end will either be 1/8 NPT if that thread is still OK in there, or you can drill and tap it out to 1/4 BSP or NPT and use appropriate adapter there. As it stands, your mention of 1/8 BSPT male seems... wrong for the 1/8 NPT female it has to go into. The hose will be better, because even with the bush, the mass of the sender will be "hanging" off a hard threaded connection and will add some stress/strain to that. It might fail in the future. The hose eliminates almost all such risk - but adds in several more threaded connections to leak from! It really should be tapered, but it looks very long in that photo with no taper visible. If you have it in hand you should be able to see if it tapered or not. There technically is no possibility of a mechanical seal with a parallel male in a parallel female, so it is hard to believe that it is parallel male, but weirder things have happened. Maybe it's meant to seat on some surface when screwed in on the original installation? Anyway, at that thread size, parallel in parallel, with tape and goop, will seal just fine.
    • How do you propose I cable tie this: To something securely? Is it really just a case of finding a couple of holes and ziptying it there so it never goes flying or starts dangling around, more or less? Then run a 1/8 BSP Female to [hose adapter of choice?/AN?] and then the opposing fitting at the bush-into-oil-block end? being the hose-into-realistically likely a 1/8 BSPT male) Is this going to provide any real benefit over using a stainless/steel 1/4 to 1/8 BSPT reducing bush? I am making the assumption the OEM sender is BSPT not BSPP/BSP
    • I fashioned a ramp out of a couple of pieces of 140x35 lumber, to get the bumper up slightly, and then one of these is what I use
    • I wouldn't worry about dissimilar metal corrosion, should you just buy/make a steel replacement. There will be thread tape and sealant compound between the metals. The few little spots where they touch each other will be deep inside the joint, unable to get wet. And the alloy block is much much larger than a small steel fitting, so there is plenty of "sacrificial" capacity there. Any bush you put in there will be dissimilar anyway. Either steel or brass. Maybe stainless. All of them are different to the other parts in the chain. But what I said above still applies.
