sure mate, if there are any extended delays on my side (which there shouldnt be, the drawer at AM Performance will be back on monday) then i will extend the cut off date a couple of days, but its all on track at the moment. when i get the picture ill send it straight to you :)

there is a possibility that PSI Parts will make some carbon fibre ones in the future for most nissan engines.. not sure when, they are still trying to figure out what they want to do but hopefully soon-ish :)

not yet mate, around tuesday i should hopefully have pictures of the gold covers :P , ill post up asap

:domokun:

sweet. im interested getting one in either a gold or the black. i have a couple of designs i'll pm you when im done with them.

is there any chance of being able to source clear covers? a perspex type...or similar?

it sure is possible, PSI Parts (the group that are developing the carbon fibre covers) have made some clear timing belt/gear covers for RB25 so im sure they could make some clear coil pack covers.. probably not in the near future but ill chase it up :)

sure mate :P let me know what you want and ill get it all sorted

10 more days before the GB closes! :(

Interested in having a custom order done... should i draw up the design myself? Do you have a template i can work off of?

PM sent :)>_<

hey, is it possible to do one for an s14 sr20 (the one with the curve at the back) with these 2 pics on it...

something like this without going over the curve....

/// S Silvia /// (centred)

or even just

S Sivlia (without the lines, but still centred)

if i could see a design of both and decide that would be great

thanks

oh yeh, in the polished/chrome style

im just sending out some PM's now, still waiting on a few more drawings and answers from AM Performance, but all questions and enquires will be answered :)

I have an odd one for you, i would like to get a plain gloss black panel and then have apexi in chrome letters stuck on top, any chance of this and what would the cost be?

+$30 to the original cost

hey man do you have a pic of the gold coloured ones?

still waiting on the gold cover picture, should be coming soon

is there any chance of being able to source clear covers? a perspex type...or similar?

dosnt look like this is going to be possible ;)

the lines indicate the bends, so try and keep your design within those lines and youll be right!

    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
