How much is the z32?

If you buy it get a fire extinguisher just to be on the safe side lol. I know the old z31 got a recal from factory due to catching fire and iv been told the z32 isnt any better due to engine size and fuel lines.

I love my Zeds but the vg engine has always kept me away

I heard that the VG engine is sweet as, its just the rest of the car isnt built too well around it (mainly cramped and overheating issues) ?

Probably could get it for around $5k maybe under.

but it was awesome, i got good on everything

I doubt you got good at everything ... but its good to see you learning. Just keep a straight head when driving.

you doing the log book system I hope. Taking lessons from a qualified instructor?

Hi people of sau sa, my name is Alan, some of you have probably seen me browsing on these forums on a daily basis, ive been on here for couple months now. I just thought i should finally introduce myself  . I have been quite interested in purchasing a skyline for quite some time now. Leaning towards an r32 atm.

PS. i do not know much about cars etc (technical stuff), so i hope you can help build my knowledge through answering some of my stupid questions.

    • Yes, overthinking. Many PS reserviors are completely opaque. Our Skyline ones, for example. Have to remove lid, peak inside, swirl the dipstick, try to remember how to read it, etc etc. Normal. Radiator overflows are often sufficiently opaque and scunged up that you can't see the true level inside anyway, and have to open and have a peak. Besides which, I replaced the (massively expensive, even back then) plastic overflow in my Alfa GTV, back in the '90s with a stainless one that I had a good fabricator make up to be dimensionally same-same, that looks remarkably similar to the Bogan's Moroso one above, and I never suffered any particular paranoia that I didn't know how much coolant was in it.
    • Looks great, but I'm always concerned that it makes it difficult to see what level the fluids are at. Am I overthinking this?
    • Looks fancy But after having a look, prior to its installation, I noticed that the yellow looking power steering reservoir would look crap next to this So I have this incoming..... Much cheaper than the Moroso and has great reviews (yeap, it's a Moroso knock off)
    • Can we place bets? My money is on there is always the option to use the 1 way profile. So the diff is either 2 way and 1 way, or 1.5 way or 1 way.
    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
