so does anyone know why there were like 50 cop cars heading down marion/ south rd today around the airport?

reckon star force were there to. must of been something serious.

they were a day late.... I flew back in friday night.

BTW, Im with Bigpoond, havn't had a problem with SAU all weekend.

good point

oi, how much shaft play (if any) should my turbo have...............................

Ball bearing..... 5 fifths of f**k all really. Plain journal bearing.... a small amount is acceptable in my eyes...

Got a bit? Where's the play? side to side or lengthways through the turbo? (comp cover to exh. housing)

Hopefully have my new turbo on in a week or two mate. We'll chuck that 25 turbo on ASAP if you think it's a problem.

swapped dump pipes with chris yesterday, mine's still off. had a jiggle (front to rear) with the exhaust wheel and it seems to have a mm or two movement. so lengthways. hasnt been blowin smoke or any shit like that, plus i only gotta run next weekend before i go away to shepparton. See how i go

These new anti afilliation laws will be interesting as far as enforcing them. I haven't read the fine print yet but I did get pulled over by avatar near Darlington recently to see if & who I was associated with. I'm wondering whether dealing with an outlaw biker through his legitimate bike business for parts etc is allowed? Or whether socializing with clubs that aren't necessarily branded as outlaw clubs like the Long Riders, Vietnam Vets, Ulysses & CMA (Christian Motorcycles Association) will be tolerated?

My mate & I have been invited to one of their clubrooms next Friday night & we're actually contemplating it, moreso out of curiosity.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
