used a wire wheel tonnes of wet and dry sand paper, undercoat and some decent paint. colour was tungston i think.. commodore colour :P

all up two full days

just temporary till i get them all blasted back and powdercoated properly

Might get mine done in a light grey.

yeah Roo that why you dont show up to the auction at all send your man in your place and have a phone link with him :P muhahahaha

thats actually very good advice. Make sure you also tell the agent that if the vendors insist with the auction going ahead that your offer may not be there at the end if it gets passed thru for less.

Nah this is what he meant. Theres the hose which goes from the turbo to the actuator. He said that apparently this was not meant to be, but there was

meant to be a solenoid that went in between it from Nissan factory. At this stage he had already passed me so i wasnt going to argue much, but i mentioned

that i thought they only came out on later models like 33,34. Bleh i dunno lol >.>

Congrats Min! Hopefully get mine passed next week so I can get back to driving it again! :D

Thanks Luke, just pray you dont get one of the younger looking guys. They looked fairly tough. (As in following the book down to the line@!) I got a middle aged

bloke who happened to be in a happy mood. I guess i got lucky!

My new tie rod ends has arrived awesome :D anyone fitted these before? Should I fit them myself I'm not sure because getting the adjustment exactly dead-on on both side looks to be a pain or should I have some suspension place do it so they adjust it and get an alignment done aswell?

If you need a hand mate, ill help ya out!

and MIN, yea Boost solinoid was a two stage bleeder which switched from 5psi to 7psi at 4000rpm on RB25DET!!! The Guy is obviously confused..One of robert's 33's didn't pass tier 3 because of this exact reason. The hose from the compressor housing to the actuator is stock so no stress mate.

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
