Took a sickie today.

Didnt get up until 12 noon. Now I've been bored all day. :P

Would have been a great day to ride thru the hills ... but I'm too sick to ride :P

evening everyone.

So i did a good deed just now.. saw a dead cat on melbourne street n felt sad so i turned around and stopped and helped another lady drag it off the road.. poor kitty :P

Im a sucker for animals :P

Felt sad so decided to give my cat a hug when i got home, all i got was a scratch on the face and a hiss.

But yeh, theres my good deed for the week

um when i saw him run on the saturday he made 285 AWKW and 301 RWKW i doubt from one day to the next hes going to loose 30 awkw's :P

tiz true.. when my car ran on saturday they also diddnt put enough petty in.. had below 1/4.. might have something to do with it.. i dont know.. was workin sat :P but what i do have is the figures of previous tune results.. can scan in dyno sheets if need be. thanks for the comments and smiles bout engine.. yeh im pretty happy visually with it too...

chad, yeh just had to chuck the trophy in there.

tiz true..

:)

would look pretty defectable personally 18's are enough and once you go to a 19" tyres whoa mumma prepare to pay for rubber

Even the jump from 17" to 18" is a big jump in price unfortunately :P but yeah, i recommend 18"

went and had my car remapped at turbo tune today and i gained 34 rwkw out of it

first run pulled 88.1 rwkw with a blocked fuel filter and fooked fuel pump..so replaced both of them and it pulled 111.2 rwkw

then after the remap it pulled 122.2rwkw..

im pretty happy with it considering the only mods are HD clutch, 2.5" full exhaust system with race cat and K&N panel filter

Ryder, hurry up and get a turbo!!

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
