Yeah when Brenton had it with eh Weds meshies it was super hot, the reason I chose his offer for the 81 over the others. Obviously it looks a bit more ghetto now, but I still like it :P

DMAX dont make them for R34's, Supermade dont either :(

Spewin :(

i had a really good rofl today!

was at bp modbury, when a massively riced lancer pulls up (auto)

massive spoiler yellow, black bonnet, dragon stickers down the sides, big fart can (you get the idea)

any way, the bigger rofl was when the foooooly sick habib, put bp ultimate in it!

laike, it totally adds laike 11th trillion fwkw n' all......

ha ha, more money than sence sometimes these people..........

Um thats really stupid. The higher the octane really does make a huge difference for a tuned engine....

I always get the 98 octane (Mobil)... does make a diff man

So GTRS's on a RB26/30 good idea or will i lose to much top end power?

do u want dyno figures or do you want a car that is nice to drive

If I recall correctly (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) RS has more peak than the SS, the SS has more response..

Can someone in the know pls clarify?

The Garrett 2860 series are worth a look, whether u go -5 -7 or -9... depends what ur after mane :domokun:

    • Most people I know in the BMW world are swapping 6HPs for 8HPs. The 6HP has a big issue with one of the clutch drum bushings wearing out shockingly early which leads to them going into limp mode going into 5th/6th gear as the oil pressure loss from the worn bushing causes clutch slip. Even with the adaptations in shifting the TCU can't bump line pressure enough to keep the clutches from slipping and burning. I've personally looked at a 335d with 6HP28 with one owner and ~90k miles on it and the transmission adaptations were way out of spec and even though it nominally drove ok I'm confident it would have needed a full rebuild sooner than later. Other than that they're fine, but the 8HP doesn't really have weird issues like this to my knowledge and they're in everything these days so pulling them out of crashed cars isn't too hard.
    • There is an ABS pump and a few solenoids. You could trigger the front/rear solenoids with a pressure bleeder attached with a Consult 2.
    • I love saying Samsonas lol. Maybe it's because I secretly want one, but also don't want to sell a kidney.
    • My budget has already blown way out but I've got most of the big-ticket items out of the way haha I just got the box back from the shop, got them to inspect it and install one of those refresh kits with all new syncros and bearings so should feel much nicer. But yeah if there's a weak point it'll be the gearbox, I'm gonna roll with it for now and hope it holds together. Do have an Xtreme organic sprung twinplate clutch to go in so if/when the box lets go I'll be back open for suggestions haha
    • Dose salivating at the prospect of being able to recommend a gearbox upgrade!
