anyone have any experience with kumho KU36 tyres? one of the traders on ns is having a sale on them, i can get the full set for less than just the front adrenalins i was thinking about...

nah im serious actually

i did some work at Bridgestone out at salisbury, working in the cafe they have there for the workers, and i had to do some induction thing before i started, and for some odd reason it went thru the making of a tyre..........and yeah they start off green.....its a pretty cool process on how they are made lol

its a bit like coke, if it didnt have all the colours and stuff in it, it would be green lol

To answer your question Dave, I reckon get the adrenalines for the front > getting khumos for all 4. Least then next time I go for a drive with you I won't be waiting for you to understeer into a tree/cliff at every corner.

yeah, the antyre's are rather nasty. anythings an improvement on those.

I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
