awesome, ill just whack a couple cable ties under there to keep it captive at least.

damn you luke.

Nah it ain't Dave

picsofdumpedorban

haha, thats the only pic i have really, but its 310mm from the top of the centre cap to the gaurd.

Max low or is there more in it?

(thats for Dave )

BTW Luke thread bumping is defunct on NS, it stays in the order the threads were posted, to get a new one 'at the top' so to speak you have to make a whole new thread.

The sale threads on NS don't bump. They are fixed and won't move up.

Loz did it last year after threads were only lasting on the front page for around 10 minutes due to people constantly bumping.

However if they don't sell i will buy them off you at some stage for my 25 conversion, just don't have the cash ATM.

lol, maybe, need a c spanner though...

c'mon jarrad, i was tucking bitumen with the celsior, this is low enough...

... for now.

haha someone should let them know they have

provided many LOLs for the sau team.

on behalf of your friends at sau we would like to extend are warmest regards for this lol factor.

hell if everyone that got a laugh out of it chipped in a buck they'd have their cash probs sorted

My God Ben your opinions are scary.

Howard has led Australia through the most prosperous 12 years in the nations existence. In fact I am willing to bet everything I have that were Labor in power for the last 12 years we would be in a VERY different future right now. It is unarguable that Australia is faring as one of the best ecomonically and socially in the world right now. Go to Japan and look at their economy right now. Or America with no jobs, collapsed property market, no dole, no free health care.

Now some of Australia's current affluence is off the back of a strong (particularly developing) world economy, but most of it is through brilliant initiatives and strong economic planning and leadership.

He was instrumental in writing the Work Choices policy, which yes, from a purely blue collar perspective did limit worker's powers and take away some penalty rates, but if Howard had won the election, and Work Choices fully implemented, thousands of factories that are heading offshore (Bonds, Hard Yacka, Holden etc etc) would have stayed in Australia providing tens of thousand of jobs. Under Krudd these jobs are LONG GONE NEVER TO COME BACK. How are these people going to pay their mortgages? With a couple of free handouts? Prolong the suffering, yes, but solve anything, NO.

Mandatory detention. Would you rather have the govt let tens of thousand of ILLEGALS wander Australia? Had Liberals not taken a hard stance against ILLEGALS, word would have spread throughout the world and every man and his dog would have been trying to illegally enter Australia. In fact you will find that under Howard we have had a record high amount of both skilled labour and politically oppressed migrants enter the country via legal options. How the hell could you condone not locking up people who COME HERE ILLEGALLY ON FISHING VESSELS? Are you mad?

Children overboard had nothing whatsoever to do with Howard. It had all to do with Labor driven political media scaremongering and absolute lies. Did Howard push children into the water? NO. Did he order Naval officers to do it? NO. Did hundreds of ILLEGAL border crossers pack into an unseaworthy boat that sank? YES. Did Aus Navy officers rescue the whole lot? YES. I don't understand the issue here. Had Aus Navy not been there, the whole boat load of people would have drowned. How is this a blight on Howard?

Now WMDs are a no-brainer. 1). Back up your allies - we did not have a choice - this is what allies do. 2). Had the world not taken action against suspicion of WMDs, when clearly Hussein et al would not let weapons inspectors enter sites/regions etc. then clearly the world 'police' is not doing it job. What did Hussein have to hide? If no-one had taken action and a chemical weapon used on another country what would you be saying then? You would be screaming blue murder they should have done something.

*shakes head*

lol at you Andrew!!!......I'll tell you what scary is when I get back from the toilet and feeding the stupid cat!

stay tuned for a strong response sunshine!

oh yeah, question, what are the torque settings for the strut top bolts and the bolts that connect the struts to the knuckles? anyone?

strut tops = tight enough to worry if this last little nip with be the one that snaps them

hub to strut = massive fk off breaker bar tight (using wheel nuts on the bolts atm, gotta do it up nun-spec )

i love being the high bidder on an item from ebay for a whole week, after

putting on a ridiculous bid to make sure i dont get out-bid by 50c (always happens)

<1m to go, and some mother facker with a quicker connection than me comes and out bids me by a whole $1

asswipe

Craig rather than bid on items try sniping them >>eBay Sniper<<

lol, maybe, need a c spanner though...

c'mon jarrad, i was tucking bitumen with the celsior, this is low enough...

... for now.

i have spanners Dave

does anyone here run or used to run 'racing logic' coilovers? im thinking about getting some for the 31, and just wanted to know if any of you guys/gals have any experience with them

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
