It must be some kind of spam/virus/scam... I've received it too but from another forum - I've just deleted it though didnt even bother checking.

Regency needs demolishing - I just got failed with my Cedric because....wait for it....no English owner's manual...

a mate says you do need a manual :)

sigh, had my HID's installed by Ric today, worked awesome, had em on most of the time i was getting around (had to get tyres, wheel alignment, wanky gear knob, stuff to make my car look respectable on sunday), get home mid afternoon, realise id forgotten milk (funny that, never forgotten milk before), jump back out to the car, start it up, pop the headlights on, and bang, only one works.

so i head back to Auto Perfection, get there at about 4:30, just as theyre about to knock off and have another customers car to drop off, Ric checks everything, diagnoses a faulty ballast (swapped the good side to the faulty side and it worked), and spends the next 30 odd minutes undoing the HID install, putting in new halogen globes, and new arctic blue parkers (one of each was blown), and sends me on my way with working headlights.

so yeah, basically, another big +1 to Ric at Auto Perfection.

/shameless plug.

now i just need to send my HID's back to the guy who organised the group buy, and hopefully get a new set...

wait... wut?

yeah Ric is a ledgend

cheaper to buy a whole new farkin printer!

They're bastards! That's how these pricks make their money.... on consumables.

Thanks Luke, I'll keep them in mind :)

just found them cheaper at officeworks, still 60 bucks tho!

is that for all four colours or just 1 colour???

when i bought my printer i made sure it had seperate colour catridges, that way i just replace them one that has run out, then again my printers is still new in the box, ive had it since december and just too lazy to set it up.......

    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
    • I just stack 2 pieces of 200x50 timber on top of each other. Total length about 900mm, with the top one being a little shorter and both having a 45° angle cut on them to make the front edge a bit of a ramp. Put these in front of each front wheel, drive up on them, throw the trolley jack under. Takes 1 minute. Scissor jacks can eat a bowl of dicks. I never use on under my car unless desperate.
