i went for a hills run last night in the 31 with the roads very slippery.....was much fun. Had to bed in the bottom end bearings so yea..took it for a strap.

Dam straight Damo would rather do SAU them heroin gts4 are 4.1 because they share the same parts from the gtr i think r32 gtst is 4.3 because of the lack of torque from the rb20

Had a R33 come into the workshop today after getting defected. What a list to change to get through regency.

Turbo, Exhaust,wheels, coils, hicas, headlights, FPR, SAFC, BeeR, Timer, Steering wheel, horn, diff. And thats without getting the car on the hoist. Gonna take awhile.

Any idea how much 19" Impuls would sell for second hand. Not sure I want to keep the impuls on the car.

Rims are in good nick. Minor rash on one. Tyres are driveable, but one rear could use replacement due to camber wear. Seen these going for between $1100 (quick sale) to $1600 (sau for sale) and even $1500 (ebay).

Might throw an ad up in the FS section shortly.

Overall, car is in great condition. Interior is immaculate. Engine bay is tidy, no leaks. All panels are straight as. Interior is totally stock. Stock ride. Cops will have no problems with this 33. Only one problem ...

... previous owner before the guy I bought it off cut the reo bar. Gotta find me one of them. :)

Shopping for reo bar, bodykit, and 17"-18" rims.

I would be interested yes! For the same reason you're pondering over: replacing 18" rubber over replacing 19" rubber :P

i say get a gtr front bar, and some rear pods, should be plenty, bodykits on a daily are a pain in the ass on Adelaide roads.

And get some 33gtr rims on it!

      Definitely do-able haha. I will give it a try if the fuel pump hanger does not solve the issue. Just need to find some quiet time in the area, Malta is like a big city and I live right next to the main hospital so it is very busy during the day. I'll be installing it in about 2 weeks, found a garage that is pretty knowledgeable and has the necessary tools. This garage has worked on multiple builds, even for competitions. They even asked me to stay with, so I should be fine.

      Just to add, I found the r32 gtr ecu the most forgiving, the r33 one would get the shits.

      For what it’s worth I drove my gtr for over a decade with gt-ss as a true daily after I pulled off the -5s, I had it engineered and went with stock ecu etc.  never skipped a beat.    I would only worry if you can’t get good fuel all the time in a tropical paradise

      I bought an engine from a friend of a friend many years ago, it was sold to me as a RB25det Neo.    recently I started pulling it apart and noticed that the intake manifold was pretty different from others that I had seen on RB engines so did a bit of research and found that it was a non turbo manifold. So I’m sceptical now that it is a NEO DET and just thinking it’s a NEO DE (it does have a turbo strapped to it currently).    can you identify the engine model from the numbers on the block?
