hey guys first time ive posted took me ages to work out how to start a topic lol anyway im having a few problems with my car, last few months i been getting abit of boost spike from my cruddy mbc after a mate took it for a run on his car.. then a week ago or so it stopped spikin n instead it would boost up fine then once it hits the desired boost it would flutter up n down a few psi and to me the car felt like it had lost some low n mid range power but other than that was still driving fine

anyway took it for a spin the other day n after i had given it abit noticed a puff of white smoke come out the exhaust.. n started drivin really sluggy not sure exactly how to explain it kind of felt like it was chokin with a really rough idle i got it home easy enough popped the bonnet n noticed oil drippin out of the mbc.. pulled apart the air intake pipe and found considerable oil in it.. anyway tonight i put it back together was going to drive it to the mechanics tomorrow for an inspection went to take it for a spin n it was just completely dead rough as put the foot down abit and it continously cut in and out sorta like when you run out of fuel got it home popped the hood n noticed smoke comin out somwhere on the exhaust side around the turbo or manifold and a real metally noise like the engine wasnt getting oil or the turbo shitting its guts or something like a tinging noise

also im not sure if this important but my friend replaced the oil the other day n overfilled it alot.. anyway any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated to determine whether its turbo or engine related... definately wont be able to afford to get it fixed for a few months so mainly just wanna know what im lookin at to maybe find a cheap fix

didnt you empty off the excess oil from the over fill, you have either done the seals on the turbo or worse.... rough idle could be foued plugs from the oil seal pull the plugs and have a look.

If I was you STOP DRIVING THE CAR till you fix it, unless you like spend money on a new motor. Take it to the Machanic.

What boost have you been running, ECU, intercooler... now if you have oil in your inlet side it will be all the way though your intercooler and what not.
