Blitz Intercooler Piping

Hey all,

Just wanted to know if it's possible to use the Blitz LM intercooler piping with a generic intercooler core with similar dimensions. The Blitz core dimensions are L610 X H266 X W68mm and the closest I've found to this is a Just Jap core which is 600 x 300 x 76mm (tube & fin) with 3' outlets. I understand that I'll have to get a 180 degree pipe bend made up to link the end tank of the core to the Blitz pipe. Considering the Blitz piping is 2.5' can i use a 3' > 2.5' silicon joiner to connect the pipes together? Will this whole idea work in terms of fitment?

Any feedback and recommendations will be greatly appreciated

no as the blitz features a lopp back in one endtank... which is far superior to the end to end over the rad type setups.

Hey dude, be careful with the thicker core coolers because of all the trimming of intrusion bar to make them fit! Your 180 deg bend would need to have a very short radius otherwise it would be to low for the blitz pipework. The piping needs to be a good fit, otherwise you could have a fitting blow off and bring the car to a holt, hard to fix at night with no tortch or tools. I would just save up for a good cooler.
