Yeah same with me. . . But ive only had 1 nice cop out of every time ive been pulled over, so when they walk up to my car being all cocky and smart and not show respect to me then they wont get it back. . . if they do show respect then ill show it back to them.

Simple. . .

unfortunately even if they are disrespectful... you have to bend over and take it up the arse from them.

just drift off to your special place until its over and its time to drive away.

I aint bending over for anyone. . .

80% of cops are good. But you never hear those stories. The other 20% clearly aren't nice. But you ALWAYS hear about those.

Totally agree, 80% are nice but that 20% is the bit that makes them look bad! i have been pulled over many of times without any problems and no yellows but this one time in early feb this year, 1 fat undercover copper and his mate decided to pull me over, then had the guts to tell me that the reason they pulled me over was because i wasn't wearing a seat belt!

Only thing is that i only took the seat belt off to get my wallet to show them my drivers license! There the types of coppers that needed to be taken care off, and because his partner turned around and agreed with him it was a 2v1 which wouldn't have a chance in court!

So wicked. 3 demerits and a $150 fine. Thank You ;)

OOoo well got 9 points left, just hope it doesn't happen to often otherwise i might not have a license left!!

fark thats badd

i feel sorry for ya lol

Nice work Dan...are you stalking East Perth Station theses days? lol

I dont get it though; they're slower than the nonsense they drive at the mo, not much room in the back for WC Eagles and i would imagine they're a little more fragile under the sort of conditions required for ops.

i heard that the reason they have started using wrx's and the likes is because ford and holden have such terrible car safety ratings. The police force is a huge customer for those companies, so it's putting pressure on them to get their shit together.

only got my skyline a few months ago, but i'm rather paranoid about cops since the previous owner had an insanely loud exhaust fitted. Once again i'm sure most cops are cool about it, but it's the 20% assholes that you hear about who would yellow sticker my baby.

I've seen this marked WRX car, have a photo on my phone along with the P plate squad car, will upload it sometime :)

Also seen several marked Highway Patrol XR6T's, haven't seen an unmarked one though.

Did hear of a rumour about an undercover magna that was enticing people to race..

Ha, yeah, I've seen that kid a few times on Beaufort street. I wonder what he'd do if the sh*t hit the fan? Do you think he'd pursue?

^^ the P plater? it was a young blonde chick..

Really? The one I saw on Beaufort street was a very sheepish looking 17-18 year old. He actually looked about 16 but I'm not sure how young you're allowed to be a cop... and how old you have to be to drive a squad car - but this guy looked like he'd be more at home riding around shopping center carparks on a mongoose

  • 2 weeks later...

from what i remember the cops in sydney stoped using them cuz they kept blowing shit up in them as they didnt warm them up n got into a chaise then didnt cool down n stop the car.. on the freeways etc.

just wanted to say somethin about the cops here, unfortunately they do have to monthly targets or "road booking" off the record to meet to advance their carer or be "normal" so they sit there handin yellows or pullin us who are a little more shiny than others over cuz they know they can come up with somethin to do us for.. one asshole yellow stickerd me for "deterring seat belts" after he couldnt find anythin and when i told him to show me where cuz i was waring a swade jaket that left some of its material on the belt n showed it to him he sill said no that belts deterring !! on a r34 thats probably one of the most looked after ones in WA !! hmm i almost hit him in northbridge but my friend put me back into the car.. had a croud around me.. n his partner was in the car not sayin a word cuz he knew the guys beein a f**khead..

and about cops beein in northbridge all the time, if u have noticed when real big things happen eg a gang fight, and im saying this cuz i use to be in lots of things lie that.. they never looked or got close they even ignore n walk away then come when its all over or just watch from a distance n not call for back up.. u dont belive it, new years is around the corner.. just watch what happens when real big shit goes down. surely they can train their pussies to be a lil tougher insteda acting all rough on the streets n getting us to race them to take our carz that we have worked for and arrest us.

crime rate here is petheticly high and if they wana save lifes on the streets as a priority why dont they invest in better streets maybe ? and widening the freeway maybe or even better in actually making a driving test that tests ur driving now to see if u can just stay under limit, park n change lines.. when i got my licence over seas it was 8 tests over 6 months passing all of them 1st time out.

iv been pulled over lately by a black and tinted new ss with chrome rims and tow bar. and seen a blue and black xr6turbo many times. seen a magna b4 but he was off duty as he was alone in the car in his uniform which to my knolefge means he cant book you for anything as he has no witnes and no speed sensor.

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
