...and that is any of your business or concern how?

You're a f*king moron.

I'm just trying to help a young kid out before he is just another thread starter about yet another uninsured skyline being stolen.

I'm yet to see one thread on here that says.

 skyline stolen from X, but it's all good.

I had it insured for agreed value of $18K

because everyone takes the "it' not going to happen to me.. " approach.

I just can't believe that you can say that in todays state of affairs.

click search and type in STOLEN.

have a look at the dates the hundreds of threads that come up have on them.

you paid $12K for the skyline.

"WHEN" someone steals it from you, you will get back $2500 "AFTER" you have paid your exess of what? $1K for a 21 year old?

seriously mate.

It's a nice looking car.

alarm etc will do f*k all when some c**t with a bat taps on your window.

ye i understand. Just where did u get $2500 from? Im covered for $10000 with just cars, so i would get $9000 back. Thats wat im lead to believe.

I ran out of those you sonofabitch...

sorry, sorry..

Mark - have a look in this here mirror...

Be careful mate.

Perhaps look at getting your name off your profile too.

Mines a 1993. The full information on the insurance should be in my letterbox soon, but im fairly certain she said its insured for $10000, excess if car stolen - $1200, excess if involved in a crash, etc - $1800

Just thought i should share some things ive been working on in the interior. Abit flashy, but not too bright in real life. Its bayside blue base coat colour.

Basically i completely reshaped the centre surround and done a pod for the boost gauge from scratch. All done with fibreglass and body filler.

Comments, opinions???

Hiya,

Can I suggest that when you can, insure the car comprehensively; but get an 'AGREED VALUE' policy rather than 'market value'.

Insurance companies have a nasty habit of paying out as little as they can - NO JOKE!

If you car did get stolen, what value do you think the company would place on your wheels mate?

i) I think you've got a nice car with good value but...

ii) The insurance Co. would give you little change of $12K!

Don't believe me! Ask the Insurance Co. that 'leading question'!

You'll Sleep Better. Terry

    • Ok I get you. But isn’t the butterfly intake a headache with the +T?  see this is my plan so far but please advise me into the right direction.  Nistune Ecu, 1000cc Bosch injectors, TD05 or TD06 Kinugawa turbo using stock rb25det exhuast manifold, walbro fuel pump unsure of model I think it’s 450/460, spitfire coils and sparks to suit and a R35 MAF sensor and boost sensor.    I was thinking maybe do a cheap eBay plenum $400-500 or try find a stock det neo intake. I think I’d port match it so it’s getting the full capacity but open to advice please.  Thanks
    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG has not responded to my emails so far since purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
