stopped playin it now  Unreal Tournament 3 just came out.... farkin too many good games on the market atm

although NFS Pro street sucks balls at drifting and gameplay outside races.

damn this game looks sweet as!

Will it run on med/high graphics on a AMDx2 6000+, 2 gig 800mhz ram and a 7600GT card?

I am going to buy it tonight if yes, am sick of buying games and them not running well heh

I have similar specs, with a 8800GT card, running the game at max everything at 1680x1050 res, should be sweet as

Good to know, I was going to get it just for the drifting side of thinks... UT3 owns too but COD4 is better!

Got mine today :) Heaps of nice cars and it handles pretty well, lot more realistic than the older NFS's. What is with the drift though?? I can barely control it, it's so different than Carbon. Maybe i just need more practice. I still think Juiced 2 has the best drifting so far.

And it also has an R33 Series II!

Yeah i know, how awesome is that. First time i've ever seen a Series II in a video game. I don't think even Gran Turismo ever had a series II.

But yeah played the game for ages last night and finally got some nice cars. I'm loving this, can't stop playing it!!

I hated the drifting in carbon. Underground 2 was better for drifting. You had to counter steer in underground 2, in carbon you had to turn in the same direction you were pointing, stupid I say.

I'm yet too play pro street though.....

i found in pro street that if you get the first corner angle right, the rest is piss easy, its annoying almost! I agree, underground 2 had the best drift setup out of all of em

well put it this way....its worth to download...

And to be honest, you can pick up a copy from Play-asia for $55AUD delivered to you door in enlgish, i might get a copy if i play i keep playing it

shithouse weekend lined up, might buy juiced 2 or pro street tommorow to pass time.

thats if i dont head down to schoolies tommorow, dont like the idea of staying in a 4 bedroom house with 25 people or so though ahah.

so is pro street worth it? its been getting some pretty crap reviews...

It is worth it, the car line up and the graphics make it worth it alone. Game play is really nice and realistic aswell and i like the way how you have to build different cars for different events instead of having just one car doing it all. Definetely go buy it

its an ok game but i still think underground 2 was the best. i cant do the drifting at all in this one i suck at it, especially when you try and flick it in the opposite direction its like trying to turn a truck into a maccas drivethrough it just wont work. i love the drag racing though that is fun i got my new mustang gt500 doing 8 seconds now. at the moment i use the r34 gtr for the track but it dosnt turn anymore it sucks and the back end slides out all the time as well now, i think it must have too much torque or something. but that pagani zonda is awsome i use it for the high speed and damn its fast. for people thinking of getting it id say go for it cause it has a great line up of cars and alot of fun with fine tuning and getting your car perfect plus graphics are great as well.

Don't be vaginas run your GT-Rs at 894hp on the tightest tracks, zomg. I do. So for a bit I was losing money on every race >>

Need more $ for a Pagani. Got a 7.99 out of my 350z drag with almost all won parts (bought T3 tyres)

I reckon the drifting is much better once you get used to it. I mean come on one of the best drift cars in the previous games was the Focus ffs. S13 does well with mostly T2 parts 334hp I think.

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
