Has anyone herd any more details or did someone from here got Jacked?

This morning on 2UE it said that 94 Skyline has been followed by Merc into Shopping center carpark (didn't hear which one) around 9pm last night with constantly beeping and flashing lights behind him and when the men came out to approach the car the three man came out and knocked the poor bloke out and took the Skyline which is still missing!

They did mention the plates as well but could only rememmber **W-***.

This is totally getting out of hand people please beware out there. :verymad:

Thats crazy.

I remember one night when I was going home from a thurs night meet a car full of guys in a camry were honking/flashing me. I pulled over and they pulled in behind me and then i drove off through some back streets to my house and lost them.

I read on ns.com today that a r33 was flogged from macq uni yesterday or the day before.

no where in that add does it say 94 model????? i wudnt be suprised if it was a 34gtr... i had a freaky coincidence happen to me the other night.. i live in west ryde too and on friday night i caught 2 f**k wits suspiciously hanging around my car in my mums driveway at 1am in the morning.. i chased them, they ran into my parents backyard and disappeared. this is f**ked man, im really getting shitty.

trust me my issue is addressed... iv got the top part of my car jack handle beside my bed and in my old room at my mums place.. weneva the smallest noise is heard the f**kers will be running away from a crazy man with a pole!!!!

i mean my car is parked under cover and infront of another car with a big locked gate. yet they still persist....

this world is f**ked!

Your not a small fella either Mass, I'd shit my pants haha.

Its a very wanted car tho. Make sure when you see shit like that you check your alarm system and hinge locks because they often are either casing the car or disabling an alarm system.

I'd suggest putting the stock wheel stop on the car to prevent them rolling it.. or a brick .. or whateva

My car was in the shop all day today... had I not disabled the alarm for them (partially, and these people also install this brand of alarm) they would not have been able to move it...

I do know they set the sensors off 3 times though doing different shit to it :P

After that, I called them and said stop it... They were a bit shocked that I knew, but god damn it helps me to sleep! :(

These people had the keys and my permission, and I still knew what was going on... with a semi disabled alarm...

yeh man its getting to me... i mean good luck to them trying to start it, iv got a pretty good kill switch hidden away.. well its more like a start sequence lol not a simple switch and start... but still its annoying them damaging it and wat not.... iv been lucky so far....

    • And these modern "environmentally friendly" EV vehicles also run on the same smoke! When the engine, wiring, or batteries let it escape it also stops running!
    • Yeah - I found the same information too.. 30% open is like 85% of flow etc. So it's probably going to be minor if not completely imperceptible. I also have a larger pod filter here, will swap that on and see if there's any difference. The hardest part is finding a place to uh, test this. It's quite noticable just how much having ducting to the otherwise completely open pod cools the intake temps down. It's better boxed, or shielded but driving for 30 seconds really makes it plummet to near ambient temperatures. I recall in the past when I was a RB land and had a nice flowing airbox -  - Then I took the lid off and put a pod there, and gained 9 psi of boost and about 60kw from the restriction I didn't know I had - with the controller at same duty cycle. However finding people using over the radiator intakes having similar KPA drops at WOT on built setups makes me think there restriction could be the exhaust or potentially the headers. Either way though, there's no real estate to play with and nothing that can realistically be done about it. The original dyno plot without the airbox, and the larger pod had a better curve. It was later I added the ducting and airbox, and a smaller pod to make it fit in there...
    • That's not completely truthful now is it? Any flex fuelled factory cars also had the option to run on steam.
    • Yeah so I guess your mechanic would know turnaround better than me....but I would have thought you had access to same day or overnight rack rebuilds there....any big city here in Australia has that service.   There are a couple of o-rings and seals involved, I guess the risk is the part is specific not general. Other option is if you can have it on stands in your garage for a while, steering rack removal is pretty simple (2 mounting brackets, 2 ball joints (separate by undoing the nut to the top of the threads, put a pry bar between the steering arm and control arm to put pressure on it then medium force on the side of the ball joint or top of the nut with a hammer to break it free) and then the trickiest bit is the splines to the steering rack (not too bad to undo, one nut then it slides out, but mark it first so you can reassemble it straight)
    • Looks like whiteline don't do springs any more, part# used to be 70191 from a search. Any spring for a 32/33 GTR should fit, just look for something factory not lowered/firmer unless that is your goal
