Hey,

My previous steering rack had a small leak which caused my steering to become heavy when cold and loose when hot weather.

Decided to swap rack over with a working one from my friend's car along with camber bushes, castor bushes and power steering rack bushes.

Once it was all done, the steering is much more stiff than before the rack swap!

Could anyone explain what could be causing this stiffness?

my friend says that the rack was fine before he pulled it out, so i doubt i replaced my leaking one with a damaged one..

Makes the car a pain to park now as it is real hard...

Do i need to reset ECU after rack swap? hicas still in car but doesnt seem to be causing any errors

Wheel alignment was done..

Any help would be great :)

Thanks
