Winton Track Day - January 28th, 2008

Just a heads up for everyone,

The next Tampered Motorsport Track Day will be on the Australia Day Public Holiday, Monday 28th January. The entries will be opening for this in the next couple of weeks once I finalise costs and things. This next one is going to be huge, the best yet. Once again all competitors will receive a Tampered Motorsport Gift at sign on.

I didn't actually have any last time as it was short notice and didn't have time to get anything.

Tampered Motorsport has another Track Day booked for the Australia Day Holiday, Monday 28th January, 2008. This time there is plenty of time to prepare so nobody has any excuses!

Entry Fee: $140 which includes Timing device hire.

Spectators are more than welcome, and there is no cost to come and watch. Also you can go for a ride in the cars but you must sign on with a Passenger indemnity first. Due to the amount of passengers at previous events our insurer has put a small levy on passengers of $10. You can just pay this when you sign the forms at the Scruitineering office.

YOU WILL NEED:

Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon

AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 or CAMS L2S (if you bought a license last time you don't need to this time)

Closed footwear

Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker)

Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure.

Good condition tyres

Working seatbelt (give it a pull and make sure it locks)

All people wishing to attend need to make payment to the specified bank account. When you send your email you will be sent an entry form as well as payment details. You will need to email the following details

what is the noise limit and when is the latest date we can enter

I will need numbers as close to a week out as possible so that I can organise groups and schedules. Noise limit at Winton is 94 dBa at 30 metres and all cars must have an effective muffler.
