sloutch
Mate not trying to give you a hard time to sell your item, but CRD is offering a BRAND new GT3071r for $1580. I'll give you 1200 for it unless what you're selling is different from them. If so then i do apologize. Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197172-fs-garret-gt3071r/#findComment-3553306 Share on other sites
OptiC
*YaY* Found my account details for these forums The turbo is the same type as what CRD are selling but if you notice theirs are slightly different setup with internal gate, different exhaust bolt pattern and do not come with actuator (for the internal gate). This turbo has T3 rear flange with 3ā exhaust outlet and setup for 4 bolt dump pipe Pretty much what there selling is the down graded version of this unit which you will then need to spend more on to get it working on your car. BOZ22N: I'll get the cartridge number for you next week as the turbo is currently on Mandurah still bolted to my car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197172-fs-garret-gt3071r/#findComment-3553396 Share on other sites
Spooner
and this turbo would require an external gate to get it working on my mates car? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197172-fs-garret-gt3071r/#findComment-3553436 Share on other sites
OptiC
Spooner: Yeah mate this turbo is setup for external gate (no internal gate at all) Here's a picture of the rear housing http://doadrift.com/node/62 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197172-fs-garret-gt3071r/#findComment-3553472 Share on other sites
Al
External gate turbos are actually a little cheaper then the internal gate equivalent. Then you need to spend another $400-$900 for a good quality ext gate, not to mention more money for a manifold, etc. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197172-fs-garret-gt3071r/#findComment-3553510 Share on other sites
