hey man, im in the same boat, i want a flat boot lid and i asked viva garage and they said they dont stock them lol:S and i have only spotted them on Carmate.com aswell, so yeah i think im just going with carmate

Mate, yeah carmate.com definitely have them - despite what some say, they're not too bad, but you'll be in for a 2-3 week wait for them to dispatch something now seeing it's Christmas and all.

I'd also try XXX Bodykits and Jetspeed - I know they have them too.

What you can do if you like is bring your car to a panel beater and get them to flush-fill your boot with fibreglass - looks very nice too and possibly cheaper.

Good luck.

Cheers,

thanks mate yeh i will probly end up going carmate. thanks mate
..

No worries mate.

If I were you, I'll consider my options first... one thing though, if you get an aftermarket FB boot, it won't look as flush.... so yeah....

I was a little worried about the lock area as it looks like it has the hole covered over and you can see some sort of depression, I was a little sceptical about the item to be honest... but similar ones come up on auction a fair bit...

yeh i did notice that but oh well its nice all the same, yeh i will keep an eye out cheers. also while im talking to you i noticed that you do vinal grafics. i was wondering what a desing like on a drift car ive seen spnsored by viva garage is whorth, its just a pin stripe that tapers from fine and thin at the front qauter panel and runs to the rear of the car near the tail light wear it gradually gets thicker towards the rear, and follows the little body line just under the door handle, the stripe is made from rectangle blocks that have a angled end if that makes sence like slices i guess

    • Am I correct in assuming that the R35's are getting the classic skyline haircut off the odometer?  Quick search on carsales, there are 33 08 and 09 GTR's for sale, only 2 of them have more then 100,000km's on them (116,075 and 110,000 respectively).  And somehow there are about 25 for sale with around 60,000kms? Looks like the classic skyline haircut to me =/
    • @Stringycheese  Have you only gone to the one blue slip workshop?  There will be a heap of them where ever you live, good odds that the next place you go to will pass the car.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?) every blue slip / engineering workshop will be different and will be happy passing or failing different things - despite working from the same set of rules. It's kinda like 2 lawyers arguing over a piece of legislation, each saying their interpretation is correct. Might seem strange that this happens when it comes to getting a modified car passed, but this is very much a thing. A big part of the game is finding an engineer / workshop that is on the same page as you.
    • Bah. I daily mine. ~60km per work day, 10-12 thousand km per year. What's the point of having a dirty old Datto and leaving it in the shed. It needs to be driven and enjoyed while the govco allows us to do so. It will only be a few years before we're forbidden to even start up internal combustion engines.
    • Judging by that spring perch and the normal looking spring on it - not a coilover. Well.... it is a coilover, just a stock format coilover, rather than what everyone calls a coilover.
    • Yes it is. We get stock from Nismo directly. I'm happy to take photos/video of it as proof before I ship it with timestamps or whathaveyou.
