Yeah like that colour............. :)

Mmmmm Millenium Jade :D

There are only 2 colours of R34GTRs - Millenium Jade, and Bayside Blue. All others are imposters :) :) :)

Nah j/k Andy and Snake :D

I think you are right!!

I looked into the various colours before buying mine and this what I found:

Early model GTR's (and V-Specs) = white, black, purple, grey, blue and yellow.

Late model NUR's, V-Spec II & M-Spec = pearl, champagne & silver + some of the above colours.

Unfortunately the late model stuff with low kms and in good condition still pulled close to 100K or sometimes more.

The most popular colour early models at the Jap Auctions (and therefore usually the dearest) were definitely grey and maybe yellow (yuk) possibly because yellow is pretty rare.

I don't know how accurate this info is but I reckon it would be pretty close because I had to wait for over 6 months to get a low km silver V-Spec in good cond for the right $$. Whites, blues, purples and blacks usually went for a few $$ cheaper.

yeah i agree with you guys, really liking that millenium jade colour. dunno if i'll be able to find one that colour but we'll see how i go.

Yeah I have a mate looking for that colour right now also.. So will see where he finds his cause he is very picky :)

you forgot red, Sled - there are definitely red R34GTRs.

On the Aussie importer sites grey certainly seems to be the most common colour for some reason.

Oh no its the R32's all over again...How many gunmetal grey ones are there in the country!! >_<

It seems the red/maroon are rareish in the R32's also lol

I see a pattern forming....

I want Millenium jade for my 32 4dr.

MMMMMMMMMM HOT SHIT

yeah i was going to go that colour insted of the blue i did but couldnt find the name or anyone with a 34gtr in that colour so i looked at the 180 that had it in a similar colour and id just add more matalic, but changed all together and went the blue haha

Yeah you're right........never saw too many reds when I was looking for silver or grey, they must be almost as rare as the yellows.

the first time i saw a red 34 i thought it was a bit strange cos the 33 & 32 had a maroon red but not a normal looking red like active red for the 34. mate has a red 34 and it does actually look pretty good. i have seen red 32's & 33's but they have generally been resprayed, mainly candy apple.

How did you go rubzy's with finding a colour??

It's just rubzy but yeah, haven't looked @ GTR's just yet cos i need to sell my car first but when i do i'll definitely see if i can find a millenium jade one but might get 1 of the silver colours instead, depends.

Check this out with colour codes to the left.

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
