sup guys, happy new years to all yay first post of 2008 piddy it has to be such a sad one:

last night some dick debadged my car and sole my god damn number plates this is the f**ken 3rd time in 4 months someone has f**ked with my car when parked at my house.

i know owning an import can draw much attention and yes some of it unwanted but f**k where has the respect gone these days, i would never consider damaging someone elses property the worlds turned to shit when ur car ain't safe in your own yard.

has anyone rescently had this happen to them particularly around the stafford/chermside area.

cheers guys

Sorry to hear that cccya. Sad to know that there are some people out there with such disrespect for other people's property. Makes me wanna badge my gtr just so i get there before they do so they don't have to scratch the fudge out of the car while doing so. You should prolly go and pick urself up a set of number plate screws. Only goes on, can't remove via screw driver. It's idiot proof, so hopefully that's enuf to throw them off next time. haha.

Replace your badges and give her a nice clean on say a friday night and do a bit of a stakeout on it.

YOU WILL NEED:

1 x 6 Pack of Beer (cold preferably)

1 x Packet of cigarettes (optional)

1 x Base ball bat

Done that one before in the slums of Sydney. Caught the f**kers too, red handed. Now Big Bubba is taking care of them...

one had the rear window smashed and a brick thrown into the rear drivers guard/c pillar smashing the 1/4 window

the other had the window smashed, wheels stolen and interior trashed

i hate leaving my car anywhere now...

I had my leterbox(1 of them thin metal milk container looking 1s) beat in every night/2nd night for like 2 weeks every day me and my dad were out there trying to straiten it out till we got the shits and did the same thing we set up camp in the front yard(in the bushs) had spot lights all wiered up rdy to blast our entire front yard....

the night we did that no 1 turned up...

night after our letterbox was bashed again

they were obviously hitting it with a baseball bat so... we filled our letterbox with cement :D hit it with a hard baseball bat and u will hurt ur hands.. the next night we here this donk noise.. they never came back since

although this story has nothen to do with cars haven a stake out is a good idea plus its alot of fun thinken ur a ninja hiding in the bushs :D

Not quite the same thing but, the first day of the QLD school holidays on my way home from work at 11pm 3 little f**kers thought it would be funny to hide near the cash converters on Stafford Road and throw eggs at passing cars. The result was an egg shaped splatter mark from the egg's shell taking paint off my driver’s side door.

At first I thought it was a rock, chased the little c**ts through the park in a blinded rage with a metal star picket recruited from a near by garden couldn’t catch them (Stupid heavy work boots). :P

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
