Trozzle I have never said any unkind words about you, and I have never claimed my body looks like anything special or compared myself to anyone else. Again a lot of people seem to be reading what they want to read and not what is actually being written.

Narh I wasn't, but there isn't a day where someone doesn't say that, lol, fair used to it by now

He's had a 36% body weight gain...and this is a better increase than anyone on this forum? Me going from 63kg at the same height to 89kg with the same BF, then cutting down to 83kg just pales in comparison to this, apparently. Then his one rep max is 20kg more than he weighs? Okay, I pushed out TEN (count 'em) reps of 100kg at around 82kg body weight. I don't do diets, I don't supplement...I'm not even trying to be the strongest cunt there is. And while we're here...how many 20 year old behemoths weighing 110kg are representative of what the average person can achieve at the gym? Is this example a joke? By this logic, GHOSTrun, if you're not benching 170kg within 18 months then you're doing it all wrong and have learnt nothing.

And really, good for you Jack...

I can see this thread has managed to cause quite a lot of discussion, most of it looks pointless.

I've reported some posts to moderators as I'd like to end any discussion around Jack or anyone else from PTC. PTC is an old school strength and conditioning gym, those that are interested in that would be on the ProRaw forums, not SAU.

Ghosty can represent himself if he wishes, although I'd prefer if this thread went back to something more interesting.

Ghosty, you only get 30minutes to edit any posts you make on SAU.

Back on topic...supplement wise I use glucosamine & chondroitin, to assist the joints.

Fish oil (omega 3), a multi-vitamin and curcumin (herbal anti-inflammatory).

FWIW and FYI Gareth, I have nothing against PTC or this Jack fellow, don't even know him or care who he is, but if someone's going to use these things as basis for a comparison then naturally my reply is going to include talk about it. It was a pointless exercise bringing it to the table in the first place.

Sorry man, but for shits and giggles I had to take a picture of myself in the same pose you took this one......my f**king god does it make me look like shit. I'll give you one thing, you've got much bigger delts than me (most people do sigh...) though otherwise I think I just found another reason to laugh really hard at the last page or so of this thread. Even though I know you've said some kind words in my thread, I gotta say....delts are about ALL you have on me ;)

Also I have the guts to NOT crop off my ugly mug

It's actually just a front relaxed shot, no flexing no pose, generally does make you look shit unless you're actually carrying some mass.

Anyway here's a more recent pic...

Yeah so anyway....

Supps:

ON 100% gold standard whey

ON fish oil

NOW multi

Max's Creatine

1.M.R. - Only take this when I need it, probably only use it about 2-3 times a month.

Gone from 5'8" 60kg to 5'8" 70kg in 9 months with probably a 3-5% bf increase ( I reckon I'm at about 12%-13% bf atm). Goal is it to hit 73kg by end of March next year and then not to sure if I'll cut a little or continue to bulk from then on as I want to hit about 75k but don't want to go above 14% bf.

so what supplements do you lot take?

Im on:

multi vitamen

fish oil

testosterone

Ultimate Nutrition BCAA mix watermelon flavor

Ultimate Nutrition 100% whey protein vanilla creme

I tried UN 100% whey, it's a mass gainer so very very good for putting on the pounds...just don't make the mistake of thinking it's all muscle though lol. I went from 83kg to about 89kg on that stuff in just a few months...other people have reported similar results with it. I wasn't doing cardio at the time though, so it was probably a carb overload. If I get back on it again I'll be running non-stop to keep off the fat.

some heavy supp spenders here...

so what supplements do you lot take?

universal ultra whey pro

jack3d pre-workout - though easing up on this lately it doesn't seem to have anywhere near the same effect it did the first/second months of usage. and i hate the taste.

lovitz.jpg

Urban Muscle Platnium Blend, but currently trying a generic brand off the net that's literally almost a third of the price and only has a few grams less protein per 100g than the Platnium Blend one.

Fish oil, whatever's cheapest, normally pay around $13/400 capsules from discount chemist

Balance Sports Multi Vitamin

Glucosamine powder

The thing with pre-workout is that your body adapts to it and should cycle wit to ensure your still maximising the benefits. Try Mesomoroph, anyone I speak to and mention it says it's far more supertior than Jack3d.

There's a new type of protein available by Optimum Nurtition. It's called Platinum Hydrobuilder. Should be one of the best types on the market but expensive though.

Can't wait for winter so all these summer cunts f**k off. Why do people think they can join a gym in late spring and have dramatic body changes in time for summer?

Can't wait for winter so all these summer dream boats f**k off. Why do people think they can join a gym in late spring and have dramatic body changes in time for summer?

They're either ignorant middle-ages chubbies who succumb easily to marketing, or try hard wankers who only go there for the "pump" prior to showing themselves in public.

Righto been doin a fair bit of thinking and reading and I've decided to change up the routine a bit

OLD ROUTINE

Monday

Chest/tris

Tuesday

Legs/abs

Wednesday

Upper back/bis

Thursday

Shoulders/abs

Friday

Deadlift session

NEW ROUTINE

Monday

Chest/tris

Tuesday

Legs/shoulders

Wednesday

Upper back/bis

Then repeat though on the second cycle I'll do a deadlift session..

So I'll be doing each muscle group twice a week though the amont of time spent on each muscle group in each session has been reduced

Essentially Shorter sessions more often stop needless over training and allow 3-4 days rest before getting back into it as appose to 5-6

I will still be doing the major exercises in both sessions though I'll will vary it so it's different ie

Chest

Day 1 barbell presses

Day 2 dumbbell presses

Back

Day 1 bentover barbell rows

Day 2 bent over t bar rows

I've also come to the conclusion that while Im tryin to bulk up my abs are goin to show up much anyway do I've cut the ab shit away

What do u guys reckon?

Appreciate input

Cheers

    • I had 3 counts over the last couple of weeks once where i got stranded at a jdm paint yard booking in some work. 2nd time was moving the car into the drive way for the inspection and the 3rd was during the inspection for the co2 leak test. Fix: 1st, car off for a hour and half disconnected battery 10mins 4th try car started 2nd, 5th try started 3rd, countless time starting disconnected battery dude was under the hood listening to the starting sequence fuel pump ect.
    • This. As for your options - I suggest remote mounting the Nissan sensor further away on a length of steel tube. That tube to have a loop in it to handle vibration, etc etc. You will need to either put a tee and a bleed fitting near the sensor, or crack the fitting at the sensor to bleed it full of oil when you first set it up, otherwise you won't get the line filled. But this is a small problem. Just needs enough access to get it done.
    • The time is always correct. Only the date is wrong. It currently thinks it is January 19. Tomorrow it will say it is January 20. The date and time are ( should be ! ) retrieved from the GPS navigation system.
    • Buy yourself a set of easy outs. See if they will get a good bite in and unthread it.   Very very lucky the whole sender didn't let go while on the track and cost you a motor!
    • Well GTSBoy, prepare yourself further. I did a track day with 1/2 a day prep on Friday, inpromptu. The good news is that I got home, and didn't drive the car into a wall. Everything seemed mostly okay. The car was even a little faster than it was last time. I also got to get some good datalog data too. I also noticed a tiny bit of knock which was (luckily?) recorded. All I know is the knock sensors got recalibrated.... and are notorious for false knock. So I don't know if they are too sensitive, not sensitive enough... or some other third option. But I reduced timing anyway. It wasn't every pull through the session either. Think along the lines of -1 degree of timing for say, three instances while at the top of 4th in a 20 minute all-hot-lap session. Unfortunately at the end of session 2... I noticed a little oil. I borrowed some jack stands and a jack and took a look under there, but as is often the case, messing around with it kinda half cleaned it up, it was not conclusive where it was coming from. I decided to give it another go and see how it was. The amount of oil was maybe one/two small drops. I did another 20 minute session and car went well, and I was just starting to get into it and not be terrified of driving on track. I pulled over and checked in the pits and saw this: This is where I called it, packed up and went home as I live ~20 min from the track with a VERY VERY CLOSE EYE on Oil Pressure on the way home. The volume wasn't much but you never know. I checked it today when I had my own space/tools/time to find out what was going on, wanted to clean it up, run the car and see if any of the fittings from around the oil filter were causing it. I have like.. 5 fittings there, so I suspected one was (hopefully?) the culprit. It became immediately apparent as soon as I looked around more closely. 795d266d-a034-4b8c-89c9-d83860f5d00a.mp4       This is the R34 GTT oil sender connected via an adapter to an oil cooler block I have installed which runs AN lines to my cooler (and back). There's also an oil temp sensor on top.  Just after that video, I attempted to unthread the sensor to see if it's loose/worn and it disintegrated in my hand. So yes. I am glad I noticed that oil because it would appear that complete and utter catastrophic engine failure was about 1 second of engine runtime away. I did try to drill the fitting out, and only succeeded in drilling the middle hole much larger and now there's a... smooth hole in there with what looks like a damn sleeve still incredibly tight in there. Not really sure how to proceed from here. My options: 1) Find someone who can remove the stuck fitting, and use a steel adapter so it won't fatigue? (Female BSPT for the R34 sender to 1/8NPT male - HARD to find). IF it isn't possible to remove - Buy a new block ($320) and have someone tap a new 1/8NPT in the top of it ($????) and hope the steel adapter works better. 2) Buy a new block and give up on the OEM pressure sender for the dash entirely, and use the supplied 1/8 NPT for the oil temp sender. Having the oil pressure read 0 in the dash with the warning lamp will give me a lot of anxiety driving around. I do have the actual GM sensor/sender working, but it needs OBD2 as a gauge. If I'm datalogging I don't actually have a readout of what the gauge is currently displaying. 3) Other? Find a new location for the OEM sender? Though I don't know of anywhere that will work. I also don't know if a steel adapter is actually functionally smart here. It's clearly leveraged itself through vibration of the motor and snapped in half. This doesn't seem like a setup a smart person would replicate given the weight of the OEM sender. Still pretty happy being lucky for once and seeing this at the absolute last moment before bye bye motor in a big way, even if an adapter is apparently 6 weeks+ delivery and I have no way to free the current stuck/potentially destroyed threads in the current oil block.
