first the today tonight story, now this piece of "journalism" http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/the-aussie-blokes-hooked-on-steroids/story-fneuzle5-1226781478429 , obviously fit people are the next target of the nanny state!

I stopped reading at this point

The NSW Health Department says the results you get from illegal steroids are disputable - some studies insist they work at boosting muscle mass, while other say they don't.

Really getting sick of seeing shitty journalists. How the fk do they get a job as a journalist when they can't even differentiate between "they're" and "their". That's grade 3 shit right there.

lol my mother told me I was too skinny in the waist the other day. Are people so used to the image of unfit and unhealthy people that it's become the norm and somewhat desirable...whilst a fit body appears to be the outcast? It must be steroids and a dangerous obsession, how else could they look better than me! Don't read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel guilty.

While we are on this topic, I'm sick of hearing people complain about how unfit or fat they are followed by "I don't have any time to exercise". This person has convinced themselves beyond reason that they are literally too busy in a 16 hour day to even go for a run; that there is no point in their day where they aren't doing something or couldn't push something aside for 10 minutes. Next day on their Facebook feed: omg Breaking Bad was so good lastnight!

I'm slowly thinning on top, must be the governments fault.

I'll take responsibility for this one, Dan. Because I can take it. Because I'm not your hero. I'm a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

I hate that person too, my response is always something along the lines of "Well it's not important enough to you yet".

I am no athlete and I will gym before I sit down to watch a movie or something, but that's just me as I enjoy some exercise.

When it's important enough, it just takes up the time of something less important and it fits in no worries.

That's very true and I will be using that line from now on instead of entering the special Olympics argument of actually trying to convince these stubborn assholes otherwise.

haha touche

My favorite quote was from the Commando in the Biggest Loser

Something along the lines of:

Commando: What have you been doing all your life? Why haven't you exercised?

Contestant: I've been busy!

Commando: Busy what? Busy eating chocolate?

:woot:

    • Yeah I spent close to a year finding one. I was even tempted to buy a RB25DE N/A head and port it out. That latter option, could still be an option.
    • My head recently blew up on the dyno, been trying to find a replacement for the last 3 months with no luck.  Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Willing to chase down any leads at this point  Cheers
    • Waiting for a queue of Supras to get out of the way. Then the same conversion work to the box which was probably bought about the same day as you bought yours, by the sound of it. And hopefuly with enough Supras out of the way we'll finally get to do the box into the car along with the injectors and AFM so that the last 18 months of driving a highflow nearly NA can finally come to an end.
    • That was a long winded way to say yes....
    • Got my R34 gearbox around 4-5 weeks ago. Came into some extra $$ recently and after I cleaned the mess off the notes, I thought, might as well buy that R34 box I've been pondering.  In that time I've pulled the engine out, replaced rod and mains bearings, done a few other engine things that are much easier with the engina out eg PRP oil pump upgrade, replacing wastegate coolant lines, installing Turbosmartass turbo oil pressure reg, made some mounting brackets for some of my mods that are "hard to reach", converted the R34 box to R33, put the engine and new gearbox back in the car. Plus cleaning ...Oh my god so much cleaning when doing such a project. Yep I'm a busy bee, buzz buzz. As part of the gearbox project, researched posts and found this thread (In which i nailed it for the OP), hence the post here # logical thinking.. Not all about you old boy, SOrrryyy. Dare I ask,  how's yours going ,> Or you got it done yet, and if so why didn't you post any of the tips I posted to help other members? ???
