Want A Rollcage

hey all, just wondering where in perth, preferbly NOR fits/supllies roll cages, although i dont intend to roll my car i will be using it alot this year at barbagello and want extra safety and the car to be stiffer,

kk are they difficult to fit? how much $ aprrox, im not sure weather to go half cage or..

Easy enough to fit. GTSVspec and I fitted the half cage in his car in about half an hour? (maybe a bit longer if you take into account the time it takes to drink a few beers )

i talked to him, his doesnt meet cams regulations, im looking for something that will meet cams regulations and be street legal

Then you need to have something made locally and have your car rerego'd as a two seater, Theres a few places in Perth will zap one up but Id probably be budgeting 2-2500

why do you want a cams approved one?

cams approved doesn't mean its street legal, any half cage is street legal aslong as the car is reg. as a 2 seater

Anyway, try Maitland Fabrication? I know a guy with an early Zed, and he stripped the interior etc then gave it to them to build the cage. From memory he said it was about 2000-2500ish? That is cams apporved and not non removable side intrusion bars but under cams ruling, they can now be made removeable.

for a decent cage thats CAMS happy for racing, your looking at 3k+ from most people, i recommend LF performance, maitland, and if you want really top shelf mark bourne, but expect to fork out big bucks..

do forget driving it on the road and A class rego tho, it won't happen, rally reg only for you

mmm i think i might leave the cage idea for now, u dont need a cage for drifting at barbagello anyway, ill guess il have to try not to crash till i have more money
