I have never heard so many piss weak excuses ....

And AdMan - you can pay your rego right now online, print out a receipt, put it in your car, and you are good to go.

lol funny stuff

cough" cough" girls :)

Had to bail early. Neither me nor the car were coping with the heat, stalled twice on the esplanade when I put the clutch in.. Once infront of all those people walking near the Palais. Meh

Hey cheers again to everyone that braved the heat and came out! Was a decent turn out, just sucked it was so hot, kinda ruined it.

Sorry also i shouldve warned u all the end spot may have been a little dusty! Its an awesome spot for photos, wouldve been alot better on a cooler day. Had heaps of plans to get different photos, like down the ramp etc and with all the different models bunched together, but we were all suffering the heat i think.

Will try organize another one in a month or so when its cooler.

Will put photos up tommorow when im on my computer. Everyone else put theirs up too!

Maybe for the next one if there could be a shot at an old industrial area might look good as well, that might look good.... Though I have no idea where one is.

Does anyone know if there is an R31 GTS-R in Adelaide? would also be good to get one of them out

Hopefully by next years shoot I will have a KPGC10 GT-R replica to bring along aswell

stupid thing giving me trouble uploading, ill post up my pics on photobucket or something n chuck a link in a min. cheers to all the organised, hightlights of the day include getting cara payback with the stupid look photo and getting confused which car is mine with another blue32 look alike

i only really got 1 good photo. Mind you I only took 2.

ah hem my heart was breaking as you make these five gran launch jokes...... compression locking up and down gears squeeks and clunks everywhere... may cost me abit down the track... no disrespect to dave but next time when i say can you drive manual with brass button clutch it should be either a yes or no....

it can be driven like a sleeping baby just takes a very loving clutch foot followed by a teency bit of nicely timed love from the throttle :)

its an excedy brass button clutch!! very bitey but i love it... just a pitty i can hardly drive it :P

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
