33's are newer and you will most likely find one in better nick easier. IMO R32 GTR is what id take but its personall preference, If u can find a 32 thats in good cond that is stock for a decent price id say do it

^^ Heh! Yeah I go R32 GTR but thats personal preference, R32's are cheaper to buy and I prefer the shape.

(Good point) If you can find a stock one. I was at JSA Imports and they had quite a lot of GTR's and I test drove the Stock 1. Sales guy said it was probley the best one they had.

I find in my area there are a lot of R33's which just got a bit too common and I wanted something different.

It doesnt hurt to pay abit more for a better condition on an older R32.

Yes its personal choice, I like the look of the R32, which is why I bought one, but being older you will probably tend to have more niggleing problems with them, and its the little things that give you the s$#ts when they go wrong, the R33 is probably the better choice as it is newer but it really comes down to personal choice. Goodluck!

FIRST OF DAMN YOU AND YOUR CHEAP INSURANCE IN PERTH!

bastard....

if it was me, i would buy the 32 in a heart beat. why? because i was going to buy that, but a riding of a 30000 dollar car and n.s.w being as f**ked as it is, ima have to wait untill im 25 ( will probably buy one before hand lol ) which is a bitch. i love the shape of the 32 and the fact that 33's are so common.

good luck with what ever you go.

Hey again all! :D

I liked the r32 alot more then the others. yea its cheaper etc but i just thought getting a r33 would be good cause its

earlier model.

i think i'd just go r32 gtr. its allways been a favourite.

AS A FIRST CAR!!! not sure over the r32 gts cause its RB20 engine. ill just drop a rb25 in it for the sake of it ;)

joosteN^ :(

good luck with either. but a bit of food for thought is r32's are old when i bought mine the first thing i did was replace all oil and fluids timing belt andthen a large oil cooler they get hot fast.

r32gtr's are also an inch shorter and at least 50 kg lighter depending on what aluminium upgrades it has on the front end

good luck but remember any gtr is maintenance maintenance maintenace =money llucky for us there is sau with group buy's :D

First lets face it if it was'nt for the amazing r32 the name GTR would not mean anything to anyone.

Second point of the 3 gtrs not including new r35 which do you think would be a collectors car.....r32.

Saying that both are good but what you put into a r32 you really get out. so performace wise r32 will amaze you.

GTR...Got To Race

hey all ;)

yea when i do end up with a GTR when im 18yo. it will be used alot on the track. and mainly for cruises on the streets.

id still have my r32 Gts hopefully for the km's use when driving everywhere i.e work, mcdonalds :D

joosteN^ :(

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
