OK im probably looking for a Stage as a family wagon / fun machine on the side

I have found one at Kamikaze in Vic

http://www.kamikazemotors.com/stock/stock.aspx?ID=834

Took it for a drive and it was a ripper!

i know i can get one cheaper through a private sale

but this is the target, and any help or suggestions would help really help!

it is best if it was a series 2 (the NEO engine seems to have better fuel consuption)

and under 100,000km

interstate is ok too!

Cheers,

Andrew

quite like this one too... can get it for around $16000 on the road

That one is very good...too bad you can't get the rims..I have them now..lol

I brought my Stagea from that guy. I drove that one. goes well. IMO i needs to be raised just a little bit

He's got a 1999 RS Four Prime Edition like mine expect the it was the standard rims and has the TV (Mine just had the double DIN head unit) for around 17k. Same amount of km's as the RWD one

You can buy mine for $12,500. If you want better fuel economy and more power i can get an GReddy Emanage fitted before delivery for an extra $1000.

Check out my for sale add i post last week http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...an-t200298.html .

S1, Dayz prime edition, momo, leather, dual sunroofs, 100km, just jap front pipe, tanabe cat back exhaust, tein coilovers, tinted all round, r34 gtt rims. Immaculate. Been my daily driver and family wagon for 1 year and selling due to company car.

Thanks for the relpys so far guys,

The white one in sydney is a good buy, im more keen on the S2 though (the neo motor and newer features)... Could you maybe get me some more pics Yunis? (im keen to fly up to check it out in the next few weeks??)

thanks for the offer MRO.... should sell quickly at that price

Anyone with a series 2 RS ????

Will update soon..

Cheers,

Andrew

Id sell mine (series 1) 200awkw for 16k

had everything done to it, bar changing auto to manual

got injectors and powerfc and other goodies not yet fitted - extra $ sorry

I dont want to sell, my knees are killing me and Im finding it damn hard to get in/out of the stagea

But if someone in adelaide offered me 16k for a stagea that Ive sunk 31k into then yeah Id possibly sell up

best looking s1 ever!

AlexCim's is for sale aswell... 200awkw s1 with s2 front

In all seriousness, mine is the best value Stagea around for sale at the moment. The work on the car is worth 20k alone and as you can see, money was not only spent on that car on fun mods, but also on sensible stuff (handling, stereo, towbar, rebuilt brakes etc).

Here is the add on NS.com: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=276474 and I just put it up on carsales today too.

Give me a call, <removed>. Come look at it and speak to me in person. I live in Nunawading near the corner of Canterbury/Springvale, so not far from Ringwood where you are. I have had mine for nearly three years and have a very well detailed knowledge of Stagea's and their workings too. I am happy to pass on as much as you want to know.

BTW - 15k without wheels, 17k with wheels. RWC and JUST renewed rego till Jan 09 included with either.

removed phone number as requested
Thats why I am saying its seriously good value for money.

exactly

for 16k mine would be too cheap

and frankly I DONT want to sell, unless I had an offer I couldnt refuse

Id be checking out Alex's car, if I was in Vic and after a Stagea (series 1 or 2)

    • I have done a lot of research before posting here and on gtruk forum. couldn't find anything. I have my gauges all part except the needle itself. the needle has a extremely small hole in the center, but the shaft going to the needle is extremely small and appears to have nothing to index it either. doesn't seem strong enough to simple pry or pull without damaging something. Already tried the old spoon trick on a extra triple meter I have from a gtt, but no luck. the center cap comes off easily but the hole in the meter face plate aren't big enough to get over the needle itself. figured this would be my best place to find someone who might have actually removed theirs. wonder if there is some type of small pin press tool to push the pin in while pulling the needle base off.
    • Ok...its taking me long enough to finally do this.  Feck financial security...heart disease will get me soon enough anyway So welcome to the garage..."Clem" Belsil80 has been running a 370Z in Super TT series. So after entering with him in last years Winton 300 i figured I  need my own car. Seems SAU Vic race cars need to be yellow....{tick} Reckon with enough motor i will be able to make up for the lack of talent and stay ahead of the 370Z... but the LS powered S13 and E36s are a ways up the road Aim is to have a car that doesnt stop or turn but has a bit of shed built motor with jam...maybe some cream  First step is getting this ex drift car log booked I am keeping faithful silver car. As the road-club car gets upgrades the race car wil get the sloppy seconds
    • Assuming that they will come off without damage at all.... i would have thought just pull straight up off the spindle with a something or other than can reach underneath. Have you searched for youtube vids of people doing similar on R34s or any other Nissan from the same vintage? They should be the same technique, in all likelihhood.
    • Keeping in mind that sandblasting is really aggressive on softer metals like cast alloy, and you can do damage that you might regret. For trash wheels, not a problem. For wheels with value/scarcity issues, etc.... perhaps a less aggressive media is a better choice?
