Afm S1.5/2 & Cold Air Box

I recently agreed to sell my standard afm from my S1 R33, (as i have a Z32 now) I believed i had another spare down in the shed along with the standard air box from a S1.5 (I wasnt sure at the time and never bothered to look until now, and it confirmed the wreck was a S1.5 because of the pink tag on the afm, i had my suspicions it was S1.5, but never bothered to fully check it out until now, just pillaged the bits i got from the wreck that i needed and left the rest in the workshop) my S1 afm has the "netting/mesh" on each side where the S1.5/2 afm is in tact one end but not on the exposed end coming out of the box, what am i missing to make this complete in regards to the afm? will someone who has a shagged afm be able to use this? with the other end of their afm or is this how its supposed to be? to be honest ive never seen a standard afm attached to the standard air box so i am really at a loss! i will include some pics so you can all tell what the hell i am talking about! p.s i hope this makes sense and i havent just rambled!
