Hi guys,

At what RPM does the HKS GT-RS come onto FULL boost for an r33 GTS-T?

Please specify what PSI you're running.

Also, at what RPM does the HKS GT2535 come onto full boost?

I am tossing up between these two turbos as my next upgrade, I am just worried about the lag issue, as I know the GT-RS is a little laggier than the 2535, but yes, I will get more power.

Cheers guys.

P.S- Does anyone know where I can find the 2535 for sale brand new? I can find the GT-RS on nengun for $2,300 but I can't seem to find the 2535 anywhere?

all of the info is there you arent putting in any effort to look

you need to look and try to help yourself and the info has been covered to death over and over

i would expect the 2535 to come on the same as the stock turbo

i think the a/r's are even the same as the stock turbo

the 2530/2535/2540 are the older turbos which HKS arent making anymore

the new HKS GTss and GTrs replace these models of turbochargers

the gt-rs is a 0.64 a/r rear so its a step up from the stock turbo

from most of the graphs ive seen its almost the same to stock maybe 500rpm later

i would anticipate it to be on full song by around 3300rpm ish ?

define full boost? 10psi? 15psi? 20psi?

full boost means nothing - the main interesting point is at what rpm does the compressor start dialling in useful pressure past 0psi

also did you know when people quote boost its actaully psia - that is its 14.7psi above sea leave pressure

so techically 10psi is really 24.7psi of pressure

GT-RS

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&id=123232

pressure reaches its peak at 88km/h which is 3100rpm in 4th gear

GT-RS

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&id=119481

pressure spikes at around 66km/h so around 2500rpm in 4th gear

2535

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&id=119806

pressure ramps to peak around 90kmh/ which is around 3200rpm

or better yet - use this;

and compare all the charts you like

lol paul, the "0.64" rating is a ratio, so if you aren't comparing the AR to the exact same turbo, then you can't compare them at all.

Ever seen a 0.63 Exhaust housing from a GT3582 compared to a GT3076?

lol, big difference ever though they are both 0.63
