Gearbox not in but i dont need 3rd for a dyno comp. Besides i have to beat my PB of 301awkws

You running her???

You'd better! I've never ran mine on an awd dyno!!!

BTW hit 76 on the knock today on high boost, never done that before........random I guess.

C y'all there.

Hills Motorsport is located at Unit D6, 2A Victoria Ave, Castle Hill. It's the complex on the corner of Victoria Avenue and Windsor Road opposite a big Holden dealership (same complex as UAS used to be in) and it's up the back on the left.

Hills are putting on a free bbq for us and supplying some drinks. There is a drink machine if they run out. They should have some chairs in the shade and will have a screen for us to gawk at.

DON'T FORGET, IT'S ON THE 1ST OF MARCH

There ya go, Ben!

Oh, and come and see me for SAU MERCHANDISE!!! - Support the club that supports you!

Ah dammit...

I was in Sydney yesterday and will be back in again tomorrow - but not today.

AND I know exactly where that 2A Victoria ave complex is, and I don't know Sydney very well at all.

Would've been good to put mine on the dyno again because I changed my exhaust system yesterday.

Ah well, have a fun day everyone :P

Yer seemed like a number of cars still going on the dyno when i left at 2pm mine nowhere near what i thought it would but can still keep up will GTRsean.

i made 282awkws and GTRsean 322. O well bring on the Pics aleast my car looked good for a change.

yeah was good to meet new people and catch up with the oldies.

Id like to apologise for not being myself today, yes, self inflicted I know, but I was sooo hungover it wasn't funny (to me anyway!)

Big cheers to Adam and Hills and everyone else involved.

Oh, and watching Josh get 301rwkw in his cammed VX SS makes me want an LS1 again....

:P

Hey folks great to see such a good turn out. For those that wondered why mine came back off the rollers before a run my front clutch pack is stuffed so I didn't want to do it any more damage. Geez out comes the VISA card again!

At least this confirmed it before I did any more damage out at power cruise. I hate it when my toy is broken :P

Glad to see so many tough machines today.

Was a great day and wanted to stay longer but had to leave at lunchtime to go do a gearbox ;)

Big Thanks to Hills Motorsport was a excellent venue and Mark and all the guys and girl were so nice, was cool to meet you all!

Big Thanks to Adam and all the SAU peeps that helped out on the day!!

Hope my cooking skills were alright on the BBQ :)

Cant wait to see the results and pics!! :P

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
