Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem.

When cruising at about 10% throttle and going over a bump on the road, engine cuts out for a fraction of a second. If going over a few bumps (ie. Parramatta rd.) hesitation is one after the other at the beat of the bumps. But as soon as i give it more throttle say 50% it stops doing it.

It doesnt do it everyday either its only some days...

Cant work out if its fuel or spark, I checked all the wiring and it seems fine...

any ideas?

it'd be an electrical connection somewhere

the solder joints in the AFM can give this kind of problem when they dry out over time

get a sparky to check all the areas of fuelling and ignition that could be suffering from poor, or poorly earthed connections

Check the AFM man, i had similar symptoms (all be it heaps worse), where not even related to bumps the car would cut out while cruising, & be on & off on its own. Purely the AFM in my case. The green sticker 1s seem to die after a period of time, i actually had mine converted to a series 2 R33 pink label job this morning. PM me if you want details. Its not too far from my place.

Cheers
