well I’m in the market for a new car and i want a turbo one and i only got 13K

it would be used for a daily drive and i would like to take it down to some track days for some time runs, drifting and just have some fun

i really want the r33 coz the rb25 and i have taken one for a drive and loved it

but because of the size of the R33 i don’t know if it would be any good for drifting which is something i want to get in to

thats why i was thinking about getting a sr20 180sx

any ones opinions or suggestions would be grate thanks

also how much dose the r33 weigh ?

what would be a better base car to start off with? (doing mods ect)

and what times do these cars do. 0-100 n 1/4mile?

would a R33 be any good for drifting

A R33 can drift. You just need the right suspension components like other cars that drift.

R33 GTST weighs 1400kg.

You can pick up nice examples for 13k but there is alot of garbage out there also so pick wisely.

0-100km in 6.6

400m 14.4sec.

If you are going to drift it,be prepared for some dollars to be spent.Skid pan days are a great way to get a feel for your car,i would start there.

I have a sr 180 and you can get a fair decent one for 13K...

stock weight is just over 1200 I think. so; lighter than the skyline.

But both are drifted all the time and the skyline has a fair bit more power, so the weight evens out.

take some for test drives if you are serious and see which one you like better.
